Assittant Managers Attitude
I use to use Exxon gasoline and I felt I was not getting good gas miliage. I began using Shell and so far it appears that I am getting better gas miliage. Today I went to top off my tank and I stood outside for about 3 min waiting on the attendent to turn on my pump in order for me to pump my gas. The 1st attendent walk off into the back and I could see her doing this as I was standng out there waiting on her to turn on the pump. This is not her 1st time seeing me. So I walked in and gave her my money and she then ask me what pump was I using? Now mind you my pump is beeping behind the counter. I gave her the pump number and proceeded to go and pump my gas. When I cam back in to get my money I stated to the assistant manager and the attendent I've never have to come in and pre pay because they know me due to the fact I always come in that establishment at least every other day to top off my gas tank because I drive so far to work. The assistant manager stated to me in a very smart tone "Well you know its prepaid". I just walked out of the store and did not say a word. Well as I was getting into my truck I really thought about what had just happen and walked back into the store and ask for the Shell number to contact the manager. The assistant manager stated to me "I am the assistant". My statement to her was I did not ask for the assistant I ask for the manager. Since you smarted off to me why would I want to speak with you. She then stated to me that I can come back in the morning if I wanted to speak to the store manager. I then observed her talking to another customer telling him about what had just happen. That was wrong also the other customer had nothing to do with this and what was he going to do about it in the first place. I just would like to know how does a company allow an employee to work for them with that type of attitude, or let's go even further than that how could a company allow an employee to conduct their business and run off their customers. Smart elec employees should be delt with and tought some customer service ethics in dealing with their customers. Remember we the consumers we pay your saleries... I don't know if I will be back to that Shell station. I will proberly go back to Exxon where they know how to treat me. I will also have to go to a higher grade of gasoline in order to get the best gas miliage. I don't believe in dealing with smart ASSSSSSSSS peoople...

Bad Service

I ask the clerk if I could have some air to fill up my tire. Now normally if you put gas at a gas station they give it to you which is up to them. One clerk said no that I would have to put it in 2 quarter which is not a big deal for me. The other clerk said it's not working right now so get the "F"ing out here. I was shock byt he rude comment and the anger toward me. This is right after I saw a man putting air in his van. So not only thye were lying but were been very abusive. I told them I will complain to the coporate and they will not here the end this. All I have to said people like these have such a sad life and I truly feel sorry for their family who have to put up with thier crap.

Customer Service
I have a complaint on the shell gas station located on the corner of van horne and decarie in montreal. I went to pump some gas and when I went inside to pay, the guy in the cash tried to charge someone else bill on my card. When I realized and told him, he got really aggressive and talked very irrespectfully. When I decided to pay at the pump, he blocked the service so that i couldn't even get gas. His name was Farid. I believe I was totally discriminated based on my skin color. When I went back inside to ask why the keypad wasn't working, they just laughed at me. I think this is the worst customer service I have faced in my entire life. I will never go to another shell gas station ever in my life.

Service Dept.
This Shell service station purposely fails inspections and tries to rip off customers. They claim vehicles need new brakes and other parts, when in reality everything is fine. They failed my vehicle for brakes and belts, and failed by law to give me a temporary pass until the problem was fixed. When visiting an honest, ethical service station, the vehicle passed with nothing wrong. Numerous reviews online show this Shell station does the same exact thing by luring in customers with coupons!

Over charge
Payed at the pump with my debit card. Then an extra forty dollars was taken from my account. The store said it would ROLL off. But if I go inside from now on, that wont happen. I thought the pay at the pump feature was for our convince? I've been a patron of this station since 1998. Signed... Madder than hell!

everything in store is out dated
work across the street from the store and went across to get something for lunch and everything from drinks in cooler to beef jerky to cans of ravioli are expired...most of them are dated 2010...i told the cashier and he just shrugged his shoulders and store isnt the cleanest. good thing i paid attention to the dates and didnt get something that would make me sick...hopefully this gets taken care of.

Inaccurate/Bad Service
I was in a rush for work and realized I needed gas. I stopped at the Shell station in Lebanon and I've actually never been to a Shell station before. I pulled in, and told the man I wanted "$20 Regular... Credit." He didn't say a word, and took my card. I wasn't watching the gas fill up, because I never do and wouldn't think there would be a problem... Next, I finally looked and saw that the gas was still filling up and was now at $29. I said "Excuse me, I wanted $20." He stopped filling my tank, and then handed me my receipt and card and turned away to go back inside. I said again, "I wanted only $20!" He told me he didn't speak English and he then said, "Fill up, regular." We went back and forth and he was basically saying the same thing over and over. The reason I got mad wasn't because of the cost... it was because he was really rude and ignored my request. I have never experienced something like this before. Gas employees SHOULD speak English if living in America and that really bugs me. I asked him to give me $9, and he walked away. He was extremely rude. I will never go back to this station. I never like Shell anyway.

I can honestly say that I have not experienced such bad customer service as what I experienced today
I would like to share a rather unpleasant experience I had to endure today at a shell service station.
I stopped at the shell service station at the Eastgate Mall. I was pushed for time and traveling with an overseas colleague. Since I am aware of your recent advertising campaign making customers aware of the fact that shell service stations accept debit cards, I though that that would be a better option than the BP, situated across the street. What a big mistake!!!
I can honestly say that I have not experienced such bad customer service as what I experienced today.
Upon arrival, I asked the petrol attendant if they accept debit cards. He confirmed that they did. When I handed him my card, he told me that they do not take chip-cards. ALL NEW DEBIT CARDS ISSUED BY THE BANKS HAVE THE 'CHIP & PIN' TECHNOLOGY!!! I then went into the shop, where an even more arrogant cashier told me to go and draw money in the mall, since they can not use my card. Bear in mind that the mall is currently under renovation, and I had to walk, in the heat of the day, with my colleague from the UK, around the mall to access an entrance. Not safe. Not convenient. Not going there again.

Stay away from them
I stop at the Shell garage to put some petrol in my bakkie, and ask the attendant to fil the car with R100.00 of petrol, when I realise they filled up with DIESEL and not Petrol I stop them, but they already filled with R72.00 . I called the manager he was not available but he was contact by telephone and said they must filled it up completely with petrol and according to him nothing will hapened to my vehicle.
My bakkie started smoking badly as he said it is going to happened, but I started losing power and took the vehicle to a motor mechanic and I had to redo rings and bearings on my own cost. After everything happened I contact the owner of the garage and he said he is not going to assist me in my problem, the fact that they filled in the wrong fuel has nothing to do with my mechanical failure, could you please assist me.
