Rude Employee
The girl that was working was gripping because she had to work over because the other girl had a "doctors" appointment, and she didn't want to be there and she was being very very rude. I more than likely won't buy gas at this location anymore! She was very very rude to my friend and I and I put over $36 in my tank. I have the ladys name if you want it.

Dirty customer facilities
Is it me or Shell gas stations have the dirties bathrooms of all gas stations in USA.

Recently I had to make quite a long trip, around 2800 miles and no matter in which state I stopped for refuel at a Shell Gas Station the result was always the same - disgusting and dirty restrooms, which looked like they have never been cleaned from the personal who was supposed to do this.

not premium fuel
Im certain they are selling regular fuel from their premium dispensers. I have a cadillac that requires premium fuel, and when i put regular fuel in it has to retard the timing so much that it starts quitting at stop lights and lurching at low speeds.

On may 23, 2010, i was on empty, put 40.07 of PREMIUM fuel in, and less than a block from the gas station my "service emissions system" warning came on, check engine light came on, and started lurching under 50kph, when i was nearing my destination that evening it QUIT at 50kph as i was leaving the freeway in the south end of calgary.

I fixed this by adding OCTANE BOOSTER, to make up for the difference in octane, which reduces pinging in high compression motors, which if was sufficient, would not have been needed to compensate by retarding the timing in my car so much it began quitting on freeways!

This happened previously when i put in midgrade fuel at a small fas gas station, but by simply topping up my tank with premium at a petro canada, my codes cleared within hours and the car began behaving normally.

Im looking for more ways to lodge a complaint, really, who knows if they are getting what they pay for at the pumps. Anyone else have a vehicle that tells them its not premium? This is an eye opener

i have received msg that u won $250000 for ur mobile no. have been selected for this. i have sent an email against which and again i have received an email from that company i.e. shell petroleum development company united kingdom requiring name address mobile no age occupation country of origin and alternativ email id... should i send this information to this company for claiming my winning amount?? is it fake massege or not? help me in this behalf.

Gas Station Personnel
On March 30, 2010 at around 8:30 AM I stopped by Montvale Shell Svc Gas station located at 98 N. Kinderkamack Road, Montvale, NJ. While waiting for service I picked up a phone call. I opened my gas tank and waited for an employee to provide me with the service. After waiting for 30 minutes I beeped my horn and an employee came. He looked angry and I told him "my friend you had me waiting for 30 minutes here". This employee named Ricas answered to me in a very harsh, rude way "You were on the phone". Then I said, "There is no rule that says I can't be on the phone while am waiting for an employee, you were suppose to come to my window and ask me what do I need" He proceeded by closing my gas tank and yelling out for me to leave. I couldn’t believe the disrespect and inconsideration of this gentlemen towards me, it was so insulting I was just in disbelieve this was happening. It seems like he was making me wait as a punishment for being on the phone. I am so disappointed I don't think I will ever come back to that gas station again. They definitely lost one customer here.

RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Hi,
I went for filling gas to the shell gas station at 5498 Buckeystown pike, frederick md-21704.

I got the delux car wash and paid 7 dollars for it. After the wash completed and it said exit, i came out but it did not drain the water at all. So I stopped at the cashier place and told me it is not dried, can you help me, he was rude and shouting saying no body got this problem and why you are complaning and i may have come before it is completed. I explained him that i waited for the signal and then only came. He said he can't help me. I got upset and told him, is this the way you treat your customers, that guys was coming out to frighten me out of the place. I told him i will make sure i complaint to the consumer protection, so that he don't behave like that to any other customre.

aggressive Shell employee: shouts, challenges for a fight
I was trying to pump up gas at a Shell gas station located at 69-250 WAIKOLOA BEACH DR
WAIKOLOA, HI 96738-5718 on Dec 17, 2009 at 21:35 (Hawaiian time). I wondered if they were out of gas as they were a couple days before that when we and some other drivers had to drive a few miles to another gas station for that reason. In particular, I was confused when after sliding my credit card and raising the lever up the gas station display said "Thank you" instead of "start pumping" or whatever it usually says when you are about to start pumping. So I did not even try to start pumping this time. Instead I approached the Shell employee and I asked him if they were out of gas. I tried to explain him the circumstances but he quickly dismissed them and then he tried to help me by pulling up the gas hose over my car to the wrong side of it. Anyway, I guess I hurt his feelings when I told him to stop and I said "are you crazy?" out of frustration that he acted so weirdly. I even apologized for that when I saw that he became too upset as he started jumping up and down exclaiming "I am not crazy, you're crazy!". Anyway, I thought that we were done with him as it appeared that gas was pumping fine regardless of the confusing "Thank you" message.

What amazed me though was that this man kept on shouting and swearing at me for a few minutes (!) after that from a distance as I was still pumping the gas. At last I asked him: "why don't you shut up?". This seemed to enrage him even more: he quickly approached me (I was staying by my car) calling me names and trying to threaten me. He even leaned over to my car window where my wife, my mother in law and my child were sitting (they did not leave the car at any point). He leaned over and he shouted at them: "stop smiling, you, stupid!" Then he challenged me to fight with him by waving his hands at me and shouting "come on!" I asked him if I could talk to his manager. He said they had no manager here: "call in the morning". Then I asked him if I could see his name or an employee ID on his badge. He refused my request and he started to hide(!) his badge that he was wearing with his hand. Then he said that he was going to call the police and as he entered the gas station
kiosk I managed to have a look at his badge. It said "J.R." There were also two other Shell employees wearing white shirts (women) who were smoking and just quietly watching the whole episode from a distance. There was also a customer who heard this Shell clerk shouting at me who asked me "what's up with this man?".

Next day I called their phone 808-886-9512 and I talked to an assistant manager Varlene describing the whole situation. She flatly said that she was "sorry" and that "thank you" message means that you could start pumping. She took my cell phone# and she promised to call me back. I asked her if she could provide me with some kind of a customer case# for my complaint or if she could give me an email address for filing a customer complaint either with her or with her manager or with Shell company in general. She said that they do not have a system for entering customer complaints and that neither herself or her manager have an email address. So my personal opinion is that my complaint will go nowhere as it was just a verbal conversation between me and her and therefore she may easily make things up even if she ever calls me back. Which I doubt as well.

Paid for gas I didn't get
Put $30 of gas in my Honda CRV, went inside and paid. Then realized that the gas gauge had not moved at all. At first I assumed that the gas gauge needle might be stuck. So later I return to fill up since the gas gauge still hadn't moved. I should had only been able to put about $12 to $15 of gas but it took $43 to fill up and my gas gauge was working fine. Therefore I didn't get any gas the first time. Went inside the store to show both receipt and explain that I couldn't of received any gas on the first fill up. They told me that was impossible and would give me my money back. No way that there could of been a malfunction. I paid for gas that I didn't get. They lost a customer!!!

Simply bad
November 3, 2008 at approx. 7:55PM, I had a 1/2 tank of gas, I knew I had to go to a meeting in Hazelton the next day so I decided to fill up my gas tank. My car which is a 2007 Toyota Yaris, never had any problems. Shell has a gas called V-Power, which is suppose to be good for your car. So I decided to try it, so I fill my tank up with this gas. I went maybe less than a 1/2 mile before my car started to act up. I was able to pull my car over, and it just stopped. I had to get my car towed to the Toyota dealer in Wilkes Barre. When the called me to tell me the problem, they said my gas tank was fill of water. I said how the heck could that happen. They said it was pumped in, there was a lot. They kept a sample of what came out of my tank. To get my car fixed it going to cost me over $600.00 and that doesn't include tax. I'm afraid if I call or go to the gas station, they will get it pumped out before I can prove there is something wrong. I need help. This was not my fault and I'm the one who is suffering over this. I'm far from being rich and this is causing me a big hardship.
