Customer Service
This is in regards to the shell gas station in Toronto at Port Union & Lawrence.

There is missing receipt paper from the pumps and this is happening often, there is no indication such as "Pick the receipt inside" or "out of order".

After reporting this to the personnel inside the gas station the response was rude and nothing is being done.

There is no way to report at Shell so probably the best thing is to avoid that location.

Lack of ethics & con artists
The sales rep told us that we could cancell within 30 days. He said that the state of Hawaii had authorized that non US residents have a 30 day cooling off period and that if we chose to go ahead and we paid the loan off early there would be no penalty. Apparently, timeshares purchased in Hawaii by residents and non-residents have only a 7 day cooling off period and after 30 days if the timeshare is paid off earlier than contracted it will result in a fiancial penalty.
We learnt a huge miserable and expensive lesson. Anything informed verbally must be backed in print and if it's not written down then they are lying. They are dishonest and worse than the seediest car salesman. I don't know how this business cannot be regulated, as the ethics of the company is non-existant to have hired on such sales people. We have become affiliated with a looser company with no ethics and I cringe at the fact other people will continue sign on without the proper informatin only to regret it later and the cycle continues. Obvioulsy self regulation of this business comes into question and that there should be an avenue in which people like us who have posted our complaints can turn to. Regret is the worst feeling especially when its a mistake that we will be reminded of for rest of our lives.

No receipt at shell gas station
Shell gas station at Highway 6 and Briar Forest Drive in Houston. I have filled gas at this station many times. The pumps always seem to be out of recipt.

It always says "Your receipt is inside"

And the shell website does not have any place you can register a complaint like this.

poor customer service
If you plan to get a car wash, don't get it at Shell on 3177 Temple Avenue, Pomona California. Here is my story... stopped for gas and decided to get a car wash. The wash was in use. The vehicle that was getting a wash was in the process of drying their vehicle. They proceeded to exit and I entered my code to start the wash. While entering the code, the vehicle in front on me decided to back up their vehicle and as a result reset the carwash. I did not receive the wash service that I was charged for. I proceeded to the attendant station and inquired if another code can be issued for the service that was not received. The attendant on duty was very condescending and refused to give a refund or a rain check. There was no appology, rather a smart remark that I should have waited for the vehicle in front of me to pull all the way out before entering my code. As a paying customer, I would expect a much better attitude from the attendant, at least an appology. Her suggestion was to come back to the station at 6:00 a.m. when the manager was available. Which was a poor suggestion, because first off, I am not from the area, and secondly, I think the attendant should have given me another code, a refund, or a rain check instead of blaming the incident on me. Because the attendant was uncooperative, I had no other choice but to leave and wasnt given any proof that I did not receive service I paid for. You would think that the event should have been recorded for follow up. I would expect that any consumer related business should have good attitudes toward their customers, including Shell. I have visited this location more than one occasion while in the area. But I will never again.

Money scam
I stopped in bought 1natural light beer for my husband on my way home. I took money of my sons that I had folded in my pocket out and laid on the counter 110 dollars a new 50 dollar bill and 4 twenty dollar bills. I then dug deeper into my pocket for the 1.27 that the beer cost. the manager was working and talked on the cell phone the entire time she was waiting on me which distracted me, needless to say i left my son's money lay on the counter. She had to have picked it up. When I got home and realized what i had done i called up there and asked if she had found my money in the mean time a new shift person said to me on the phone how could i know i just got here which i thought was very rude how did i know that he had just gotten there. I then went up to the station to see if he would check their video and was told he had no access to the video only the manager. I called the reynoldsburg police which called all the numbers to reach the manager and of course no answer. this happened around 6:45 - 6:55 pm today which is october 17, 2008. I just want to know if she took my money. I will not return to that gas station again because everytime i have been there she talks the entire time on the cell phone instead of giving her customers the service the deserve. Please i live on disability so i have nothing and that money means whether i have food or not. I just want to know what happened to the money i left on the counter. If you could assist me in this I would greatly appreciate it after all if you thought that i took something you would certainly look at the video footage. thank you for any help you may assist me in.
