1. I am writing this mail with an utter sense of disgust and feeling of being CHEATED by M/s ADIDAS .
2. I have purchased a shoe Product description HARUNA M/G21800/7 vide Bill No. SC10/5735 dated 19/01/2011 at a total cost of Rs. 2219/- from ADIDAD EXCLUSIVE STORE, Matrix Sports Market Pvt Ltd, 1st Floor Shop No. F1.R.City Mall, Opposite Presidential Tower LBS Marg, Ghatkopar West Mumbai 400 086.
3. The shoe was purchased for my ten year old daughter for playing purpose. The attendants in the Store including Store in-charge practically coaxed us to buy this particular model and billed us for it. Within 20 Minutes we returned to the store to tell them that this shoe was designed with a perforation/vent in its sole – which was suitable only for tread mill running and as such unsuitable for a ten year old to wear in parks and dusty areas.
4. We accordingly told the store to give us any other shoe with similar or higher cost.
5. The store manager was one of the MOST OBNOXIOUSLY behaved individuals whose conduct was despicable as was his language. Having misguided a customer he was “shameless” enough to even mention that we should have noted this feature while billing and that it was 20 minutes too late.
6. I consider this as an act of cheating which is bound to bring disrepute to a brand like yours.
7. May I also add that I am currently wearing my third pair of the ADISTAR as is my wife on her second. We are definitely not new to the brand.
8. In view of the above, the following is requested:
(a) A change advise be issued imminently so that the shoe can be changed for a suitable model.
(b) Strict action be taken against the store and manager for his conduct/behavior and his attempt to cheat.
(c) Other Stores be advised that a change within minutes should be permissible since it could also be a billing error and such sales should NOT be taken as an opportunity to fleece and cheat long term customers.
I await and expeditious and favorable response.
