I have precious little time to write this complaint, but I am so financially hurt, I've got to warn you...
WARNING: IF YOU want to TRY ON SHOES FROM SHOEBUY.com BUYER BEWARE!!! Featured Paper-like "fall out" shoe linings wrinkle when trying a shoe on. Shoebuy says then shoes not returnable!! (Amazing since these linings are cheap to replace). DON'T TRY ON THE SHOES IF THERE IS ANY POSSIBLITY THEY WON'T FIT. And to date, SHOEBUY DID NOT PRINT MY Customer REVIEW about shoe design &mfr. defects ON THEIR SITE. Will they print yours? Do you honestly think only five people reviewed a shoe? Do you think every shoe received 4-5 stars by customers? Do you honestly think no one reviewed a shoe since last May?? Do you think Shoebuy is going to utilize "server space" showing complaints? With the current cost of doing business on the web, and product imports, do you honestly think the shoe sent to you by Shoebuy.com will be worth $99 bucks???
(At best it is difficult to judge shoe fit and value from a tiny photo on a website.)

If you care about people, one recourse I suppose is to Twitter/Text/TELL at least 50 PEOPLE a year YOU CAN'T SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE AT SHOEBUY!!! You know, tell your postmaster, your Fed Ex guy, your UPS guy, your classmates, etc. Maybe your church newsletter will let you put in a small warning message. (When a company does harm, the result is citizen activation--that's a
Public Relations 101, rule of thumb. Does Shoebuy.com not know that?) So, take heart.
You can warn people in your garden club, bowling team, carpool, etc. Tell them when it comes to
shoe defects, people on this site say Shoebuy.com will ultimately refuse a refund. You say the shoe is uncomfortable, Shoebuy.com says it is comfortable. You say the shoe is glued together badly, Shoebuy.com says the shoe its not. You say the shoe cuts into your toe, heel, whatever, Shoebuy will say it doesn't! *Tell people they can not try on the Shoebuy.com shoes and expect a refund! Shoes and packing and paperwork must be returned undisturbed. Save all! So my hunch is they have a "no return" deal with their vendors, even though Shoebuy advertises in bold print "free return shipping".
I sure didn't see a " don't try on" policy or "don't open packaging" warning prior to my purchase. YOU CAN NOT SHOP WITH CONFIDENCE AT SHOEBUY!! Don't trust Shoebuy.com. (Sad, doesn't all marketing success depend on forging a relationship of fairness and good faith?)
(Also for a fee, Complaints Board removes Complaints from this Board. BUYER BEWARE!!! ) How many complaints have been removed already??? (I sure hope one of you has
a chance to benefit from this review before its removed because I don't want my $90 loss to be for
nothing).
Shop at a dept.store--they allow you to try on floor samples and more. I sincerely hope this is a helpful complaint. I wrote this review because I think most people can't throw $85-$199 out the window and still not have wearable shoes. Mostly, I don't want those folks with few resources to lose them.
