On 11/28/2008 I oreder the Cannon HG21 Starter Package for $599.00 + Shipping & Handeling from shopdigitaldirect.com. Upon my purchase I received an email receipt from shop digital direct without any product information nor pricing information about the order I had just placed.

On 12/01/2008 I called shop digital direct to confirm that they had received my order. After giving the sales person my confirmation number he confirmed that I had ordered th cannon HG21 starter package and that the cost of the prodcut was 623.00. I also asked the sales person if the product was brand new or refurbished and the sales person confirmed that the product was brand new.

On 12/2/2008 at approximately 10:15pm a sales person from shopdigital direct called my home and tried to upsell me on the product... over and over he kept trying to offer me different packages... stating things like the package I ordered didn't have the quick charge battter pack or charger... finally I told the sales person.. just mail me the product I ordered... I felt like I was arguing with him just to get what I ordered...

On 12/3/2008 a charge of 899.00 was posted against my credit card from shop digital direct.

On 12/4/2008 I called shop digital direct to cancel the order and request that the charges of 899.00 against my credit be reversed. The sales person stated that the best he could do was give me a $40.00 refund. When I asked how the charge was 899.00 he stated that the additional charges where authorized ... when I told him that I did not authorize the charges he stated that the charges where for insurance and the upgraded camera battery and chager.. I told him that I did not want any of thoes items and that I wanted to cancel my order. The sales person stated that my order had already been shipped out and that I should call them back once I had received the package... frustrated and angry I hung up.

On 12/5/2008 I received a Cannon HG (20) Kit ... I ordered the HG21 The cannon HG20 is on sale at bets buy right now for 899.00... I immediately called my credit card company to dispute the charge...
