TV’s ARE REFURBISHED
I ordered a 46” Samsung LCD TV for $1, 188.00 including shipping. The TV died shortly before day 90. I paid the TV repair man $75 to look at it and he told his cost for the part I needed was $800!
I never received a receipt from shopdigitalonline for the TV. I got their phone number off my Visa statement; which is a bogus number.
I finally got a hold of Eliot at shopdigitalonline and told him about my problem. Eliot agreed to take the TV back. They were a week late picking it up. Instead of getting another 47” Samsung, I decided to upgrade my 47” Samsung to a 55” Samsung. I agreed to purchase the 5 yr. warranty they recommended from ProTech. The upgrade, warranty and return shipping was an additional $500. Eliot told me to expect delivery in 5 business days. I did not receive my TV 5 business days later as promised. I called and spoke with Henry. He told me it had not been shipped because the cost was not $500 but $700. I told him that I was quoted $500 by Eliot and would only pay what I agreed upon. He rudely told me to not interrupt him until he was done speaking. When I argued with him he told me “DON’T F*** WITH ME OR I’LL SHIP YOUR BROKEN TV BACK.” My mouth dropped in unbelief the way he spoke to me. I didn’t want to lose the $1, 188.00 I had already given him so; we negotiated for $600.
I got off the phone and thought I better call ProTech; I got their voice mail and you will never guess who’s voice I heard on the recording…yes, HENRY’SïŒ! I had a pit in my stomach and thought I was going to throw up. So I went and Googled “ProTech scams & shopdigitialonline scams”…I found at least 10 different websites of pages of reviews; people sharing similar nightmares.
I called Visa and they told me to contact the chamber of commerce, the attorney general of the state of New York, the federal attorney general and file a dispute with Visa.
The next day I called Henry and I politely told him to cancel my order. He said to me; “YOU’RE AN A**HOLE…I’VE BENT OVER BACKWARDS FOR YOU” and I replied “no you’re the a**hole” and I hung up.
The next day, I sent Henry an email and told him that if he did not credit my Visa $784.50(I would pay for all shipping) I would contact the federal attorney general, the New York attorney general, the better business bureau, my lawyer, dispute the purchase with Visa and write a review with the 10 links I noted.
Finally I got his attention; two weeks later I received my credit.
I learned a very valuable lesson; research first!
I will write more reviews like this one…KNOWONE SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE NIGHTMARE I WENT THROUGH OR BE SPOKEN TO THIS WAY!
THESE SWINDLERS NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUISNESS - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM shopdigitialonline or protech!!!
