	Mick Melbourne November 5, 2010 Taking Money out of my account I recently changed my email address so I got a letter from these people saying they couldnt contact me. On accessing the website I noticed all these complaints about them. I then checked my bank statements and found they'd been taking £10 a month since last May. I've no recall of ever using them! I phoned their automated system but I couldnt get to an advisor because I dont know my membership number. For that reason I couldnt log on. I did manage (I hope!) to cancel the theft from my account but I would like my money back!
	Roger Stimson June 17, 2010 Monthly debit I have been paying monthly for this discount offer without realising it. I responded to what I believed was a one-off offer. . . I have cancelled this now, but the contact claimed this was clearly outlined. I can still see no reference in the print out to say the fee was being deducted monthly. This appears to be the same company as My Time Rewards.co.uk!
	Steve Scarcia April 11, 2010 Unauthorized Credit Card Charges For the most part I think I'm a pretty savvy person, but stupidly I just discovered that since December 2007, I have been charged $10.00 monthly for some scam company called SHOPPER DISCOUNTS & REWARDS. For some reason, I thought that I had been paying for a group subscription of magazines I had purchased for my B&B, but when I just examined my Visa bill, I contacted Bank of America to ask for clarification. I discovered that this charge had nothing to do with the magazine subscriptions. As a matter of fact, it simply appeared on my card. In looking back, I purchased nothing from this "discounts & rewards" company. I can't find a common denominator like the other complaints I read on Complaints Board (like Tiger Direct or AllPosters.com). I can't think of anything I purchased that would have caused me to press OK to become a member of Shopper Discounts & Rewards club, let alone to give them my credit card number to charge anything on it, especially on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, my Bank of American complaint person said that since I was calling on a weekend that I would have to call on Monday morning at 8am and that they and I would have to be on the phone with Shopper Discounts & Rewards. However, based on the other complaints I read, I will be getting only 4 months back ($40) of the $280 that they have charged on my credit card. I will try to fight this as far as I can go. If I get nowhere - either from Shopper Discounts & Rewards or Bank of America, then I will be contacting the frauds department of the Attorney's General of New York State & Connecticut as well as the Better Business Bureau of NY & CT to lodge complaints. First of all I can't believe that I let this slip by me for so long, but also I can't believe that someone hasn't closed these people down long before this. I would put these people jail and thrown away the keys. Hope someone out there has better luck than me! I've learned a great lesson today!
	Gardner Grandpa March 8, 2010 Unauthorized Credit Card Charges My credit card account has been charged $12.00 per month since September 5, 2008 without my or my wife’s authorization. I had noticed this charge on my credit card activity before, but I didn't think it was an issue because both I and my wife use this card for any and everything so we can accumulate points for free airline flights. On March 7, 2010, I noticed this charge again while looking at my credit card activity. I asked my wife what this was for and she said she had no idea. I researched and found this amount had been charged to my credit card for the last nineteen months. The charge on my statement reads “SHOPPER DISCOUNTS 800-889-8776 CT” and the charge is always $12.00. This apparently is created by placing an order from certain merchants online. When the purchase is completed, a pop up window asks if you would like a discount on your next purchase. Apparently if you simply click on this pop up window, Shopper Discounts acquires your credit card info and begins charging your credit card account without your knowledge. I contacted Shopper Discounts and they offered to cancel my “membership” and refund the last $12.00 charge. I said I wanted all nineteen charges refunded. The person said she was only allowed to credit the last four charges over the phone and that I would have to submit a form, (that she would send to me) requesting a refund of more than four months of charges. I also contacted my credit card company to dispute the unauthorized charges to my account. The credit card person I talked with said I was allowed to only dispute the “LAST FOUR” charges to my account. He said time had run out for me to dispute any additional charges. I found it was very convenient for Shopper Discounts to only credit me the last four charges over the phone. In my opinion, they knew my credit card company would not allow me to dispute more than the last four charges. THIS IS AN OBVIOUS SCAM AND THIS COMPANY AND ANY COMPANY ALLOWING SHOPPER DISCOUNTS ACCESS TO THEIR WEBSITE SHOULD BE PROSECUTED.
	Maggie January 25, 2009 Scam Just be careful when ordering anything online. If you see anything that says Shopper Discounts and Rewards after you "checkout" through online buying, quickly click out because it may seem like it is still part of AllPosters.com or whatever website you are using and it is not. They do try to trick you and people don't even realize. Then this company takes your credit card info from your order, charges a 1 dollar activation fee and begins charging you 12 dollars a month. I luckily noticed it right away and called to cancel, but just make sure you demand ALL your money back because they will try to tell you that they will cancel it and you will have services for the next month (paying through what they have already taken). Demand they cancel it immediately and demand a refund. There is a website and phone number that has contact information and customer service hours. It is a shame that companies like this make money by taking advantage of people and that companies like allposters.com call themselves partners. There is a website that lists all websites that use Shopper Discounts after "checkout", but just keep your eye out. 	nighsmith January 22, 2009 Fraudulent Service When shopping on the TigerDirect.com website beware of the Shopper Discounts & Rewards Membership application. I can’t believe this type of service is allowed to do business. Fraudulent is the only word I can use to describe it. I will no longer be shopping at TigerDirect.com, ever! I have been paying them for many months. It just slips past most people’s radar when looking at the credit card bill. I am totally pissed off at these two companies as well as myself.

Clicking on that link caused our credit card to be charged $12 every month by shopperdiscountsandrewards.com. What a scam! It wasn't until 7 months later that I realized these charges weren't something I'd bought online and forgotten about. Fortunately, Googling the company name brought me to complaintsboard, where I learned I was only one of hundreds who had been ripped off. As recommended by other posters, I called their customer service phone number. They were very polite, sent me a confirmation email, then issued a full credit within two days. I also sent an email to allposters, complaining about being directed to this scam by their site and letting them know I wouldn't buy from them again. I got my money back, but it was a hassle.
