I have written the following to shopperdiscounts:
I insist you immediately refund to me the total of £40 (£10 a month) which you have taken from my Mastercard over a period of 4 months since I used e-bookers to buy a flight at the end of May, 2009.
This amount was completely unauthorised by me and I have no interest whatever in your services.
Apparently my "membership" number is xxxxxxx.
As you clearly have all my personal and master card account details you should have no difficulty in immediately effecting a refund.

If I do not receive immediate notification that this amount will be refunded I will be contacting the national newspapers and consumer affairs authorities as I note from a considerable number of internet blog sites that this is something many others have complained of.

I am getting a charge of £10.00 on my credit card by Shoppersdiscounts.co.uk I do not know what it is about & feel it is unauthorised

And i thought it was just me! No idea where this company got my bank details but i too have been leaking £8 a month to a company called Shopperdiscounts.co.uk for the last year. I dont believe i have yet received any such discounts either.

Has anyone out there with similar experience successfully managed to stop this payment coming out of their bank account and / or receive a refund from the company?

I'd be glad to learn of any recent experiences. Thanks.

When paying my John Lewis Card Bill, I noticed an £8 charge from Shopperdiscount.co.uk that I did not recognise. I googled Shoppersdiscount.co.uk and found this went to this website top discover I am yet another Easyjet customer that has been scammed into this £8 charge. They explained how this had happened whenthey were offering a £10 money off voucher off future Easyjet bookings - never received - and that I had clicked to accept this offer. They also say that there was reference to Terms & Conditions for this offer. I do not recollect clicking on any offer that was based on paying £8 per month to get a £10 off voucher.

I believe all credit card companies should be asked to stop payments to Shoppersdiscount without full authority from the credit card customer. Tjis should stop this fraud on other people.

SHOPPERDISCOUNTS.CO.UK have been making unauthorised withdrawals from my account for god knows how long. As I buy a lot online I previously believed this was an ebay transaction but have now realised they have been taking money from my account for a while now and am still not certain to the true amount.

VERY WORRYING. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE AND HOW ARE THEY DOING IT.
