say great savings to be had, they dont tell you they take 10 pounds every month and claim i brought something on i tunes music i dont own an i pod i hopefully cancelled them people beware

Having just read some statements given by people having money taken from their account unwillingly the same thing has happened to me.
shopper discounts has taken eight pounds from my account for ten months, I feel so angry that I just didn't realise, early on.

I contacted the Halifax visa company who has not been very supportive over this matter. they said that i will probably get one months payment back. I had to cancel my so called subscription via an automated phone call to shoppers discounts giving out my visa number,
they had my email address already and have not replied to me via email as they said they would.
my visa company said that if i didn't cancel my subscription I would have to pay the monthly bill even if I cancelled my card. As you can imagine I will cancel my visa when this is sorted out.

I have been with the Halifax for over twenty years and this is the way they treat loyal customers.

please be aware people reading this you are not as protected using your visa via the Internet as you may think.

£8 removed from my Nat West Visa card without my authorisation - have found others saying the same on the internet but no suggestion as to what to do about it. Please help!
Nat West Visa gave me the Shopperdiscounts telephone number as 0808 234 1539 but when I rang it I got an automated message saying this number wasn't accepting calls at present and please ring back later

Having made a purchase from a reputable on line company I was pleasantly surprised to learn at the end of the transaction that I would receive £15 cashback via Shopperdiscounts. All I had to do was signn up and my cashback and loads of discounts from many UK top brands would be mine. I got a shock when some days after signing up my credit card had been debited £10 as my subscription. I never agreed such a charge and at no point did there offer mention a joining fee. What a scam. Ive tried to call but the office is closed due to severe weather!!
