I have just noticed a recurring £10 charge on my monthly credit card bill from Shoppers Discounts. I am not aware of authorising them to access my credit card and have bought anything from their members. However, I did use National Express Coaches regularly this past summer and was offered on £15 discount onmy next booking with them. Once I made the booking and enclosed the coupon provided, I did receive my £15 rebate. To claim this discount I was directed to the Shoppers Discountwebsite, but I did notsign up for anything else orpurchase/use any of their other services. Therefore they are illegally taking money from me.

What can I do to stop this?
Am I able to reclaim the money they have already taken from me?
Can this company be shut down to preventother being ripped off?

Anything you can do or advice you can offer will be sincerely appreciated.

I ordered something from "drugstore" on the internet. This was for a friend so I used his credit card. He did not realize it but he has been billed for the last six (6) months for this $12. This is a scam. When I contacted the company my friend told me it had been for four (4) months, so that is what I wrote. A day later he looked further and noted it had been six (6) months. I contacted the company for the additional two (2) months and they refuse to refund that money. They said they refunded the four (4) months and will not refund the additional without filling out an affidavit and sending it in. They know what they billed, and they know this "service" was never used. Did not even know it was there. And, it was under my name on my email but billed to his credit card, which I am NOT a signer. If this isn't fraud, I wonder what is. This is not a good company to do business with. I noted all the other complaints. The company should look at this site as well.

Were charging $12 to my credit card without my approval

I did not purchase anything through this company. It just shown up at my bank.
