$12.00 recurring charges on Amer. Express
My son purchased a poster online May 2009. While checking out he some how joined shopperdiscount.com in Norwalk CT. As today 4-28-11 We are NOW CANCELLED. We have been charged $12.00 per month since that purchase. This was NOT authorized this company is a SCAM! Read the fine print when purchasing on the internet. This is criminal! They take your credit card and charge you each month for no reason. US Attorney general should shut these people down!!

I WORK FOR A CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THIS COMPANY CAN STILL BE LEGALLY OPEN TO AUTOMATICALLY SUBMIT APPLICATION W/OUT PERMISSION FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE TO SHOP ONLINE!!! THIS GOVERNMENT IN THE SO CALLED UNITED STATES ALLOWS THIS TYPE OF BS TO GO ON. PEOPLE GET SIGNED UP W/OUT PERMISSION AND DONT NOTICE THE CHARGE CUZ IT IS ONLY $12 A MONTH BUT THIS IS TOTAL BULLSHIT!! THESE PEOPLE WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY AND SHOPPERSDISCOUNT THINKS THEY CAN JUST SCAM THESE INNOCENT PEOPLE FOR HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS PROBABLY MAKING MILLIONS A YEAR WITH HOW MANY PEOPLE I HAVE HELPED THIS YEAR ALONE YOU GUYS ARE ASSHOLES!!

monthly sums taken from credit card
re to unsubscribe from shoppersdiscount.com Ring 08007319936 they are very helpful and are perhaps used to such requests. My bank advised me to post date the wish/need to unsubscribe by 3 months which shoppersdiscount.com immediately accepted and refunded with a follow up email

money out of my account un authorised!
iv just checked my bank and noticed a rogue £10 had gone out of my account yesterday, i couldn't think what or why because i don't use my card for a great deal of online shopping its my 'bill account' so i know what should be coming and going!
As i looked into the full bank statement i noticed it had gone to the above web site, so i went on to their web site and didn't recognise anything, iv had to ring the above number to cancel my account? which i never opened! iv also emailed them telling them il be looking into it further and wanted to know which company had given my details without consent!!!
Small print is small but its always there and i don't remeber any small print telling me a company could take money from me without concent!
Watchdog is the next port of call!!!

Unauthorized deduction from Amex card
While reviewing my credit card statement I noticed that there was a charge of 12.00 for 'Internet/webservices" under the name Webloyaltycom. I thought it was the fee my husband pays for his web hosting but when I asked him, he said that he didn't recongnized the company's name or address. We called and they told us that we had 'signed up for shoppersdiscount.com after purchasing movie tickets on the Internet."
We never knew we had signed up and they had been charging for 5 months already. We called and asked them for a refund and to cancel the 'membership' right away. We also told them that we had seen numerous complaints about their deceiving practices on this site. They agreed to the refund for the entire 5 months.
So beware when you purchase tickets on the web and double check the merchants on your credit card statements.

unauthorized billing
Found two ShoppersDiscount.com $12.00 each billings on my Discover Card for Jan. and Feb. Do not know who they are nor do I want to know who they are. Tried calling them, gave up and posted disputes. Where do these people get our credit card numbers.

I just noticed a $12.00 charge on my AMEX account, only to realize I'd been charged that amount for the last 4 months from Shoppersdiscount.com. I quickly came onto this website and realized the difficulty others are having contacting this company. Well, here's a treat for you all! As I scanned my online statement, the phone number for Shoppersdiscount.com was included with the charge! So, here you all go...

After I called them to get to the bottom of this scam, I learned that this charge was tied to a purchase I had made on Buy.com in July 2009. Apparently what must have happened is during the checkout process I may have either "clicked" or "not clicked" a certain box that would authorize them to charge this fee on my account. SO, A WARNING TO ALL, MAKE SURE YOU READ THROUGH ALL OF THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOUR ONLINE PURCHASE!
Amex graciously took care of the situation. I'm filing a complaint against this company and am debating about doing the same with Buy.com. I think it's safe to say I will not shop at Buy.com again though... Shame on them for allowing such a deceitful scam to occur!

Since I booked some flights with easy jet I have just noticed I have been charged £10 a month, how has this happened when I did not agree?

Unauthorised debit
I have had a number of payments of £10 debited from my account without my authorization. I believe this may have happened when I have made purchases on the internet when looking to find a discount code, but I have no idea as to how they got my account details. I urge internet shoppers to be aware of this scam.
I have contacted the bank to file an official complaint and try and get a refund.
