Fraud/False promises
We were contacted by Patrick Nosack a representative for Showcase Resorts in February 2008. He stated that he had a buyer for our Cliffs at Peace Canyon timeshare property and they needed a 1, 000.00 (refundable) for the expenses with the closing cost and legal fees, and then we spoke with Mr. David Medley and he explained to us again that our property was being sold in a block of timeshares to a company. The sale was guaranteed and we would be getting a specific amount along with the $1, 000 returned. We would be receiving the check within 90 and 120 days. Four months later we contacted them and they still guaranteed the sale and stated it was just taking a little longer than expected..apology...apology. My husband and I traveled to Las Vegas, hunted down the 953 E. Sahara office and spoke with Mr. Medley and Mr. Nosack, viewed the contract that stated how much they sold the property for and they stated the deal should be completed in a few months. It has now been 20 months, they said the sale "fell through" they refuse to return the $1, 000 and refuse to allow us to speak with anyone higher up than Patrick Nosack. David Medley is apparently (hospitalized) and no longer with the company. Mr. Michael Sullivan (owner) will not take phone calls. When you call and ask to speak with financial officer Anthony Gaid or the owner Michael Sullivan or any management higher than Patrick Nosack they state no one will speak with us. We just wanted our money back. Initially they were listed with the BBB of Las Vegas who I contacted before making the agreement. They are no longer listed with the BBB and ignore the complaints. I would recommend that no one waste their hard earned money with this supposed resale company. Note: Their website has changed and is not accessible.
