I signed a contract with this company on May 16th 2006 and gave them a 50% deposit on shutters that were supposed to be installed 4 weeks from the date of entering into contract with the company. My wife found out about a program through FEMA where they inspect your house and if you qualify for this specific program they will pay 50% of your install up to $5,000.00, so I put the shutter company off on their installation, in which they must have loved. Well like many others here I am 1 year later with no shutters and coming into another Hurricane season. BEWARE this company and there affiliates which are located at 5025 Hiatus Rd. are all thieves and I am like everyone else should be filing a law suit against the company. If we all get together it would be called a class action lawsuit, which would be much stronger and I would think much cheaper for all parties involved. The president of SSMF which by the way is also the principle officer of the company located at 5025 N. Hiatus RD. Standard Steel & Metal of South Florida or Stainless Steel & Metal of Florida Inc. or Stainless Steel & Metal of South Florida Inc. is liable for these unfulfilled obligations as well as the contractor qualifying these obvious unlicensed crooks, his name being Mr. Bryan M. Hernandez License # CG-C1509038. I am also a contractor here in south florida and I am contacting the broward county licensing board to go after Mr. Hernandez's license along with many other routes that you might not be familiar with as not being a contractor. If you would like additional information or would like to join the class action lawsuit you can contact me by e-mail at
[email protected] or at my office (South Florida Dock & Seawall Inc.) (954) 581-8889 Thanks and: LET'S MAKE THESE GUY'S PAY:: SOUTH FLORIDA FIGHTS BACK.
