1 year ago, we had 2 sliding windows and 1 bay window installed.
The installation was very poor; the bay window frame started coming apart in a few months, the casements on the bay window never opened properly, and one of the sliding windows had a wrong-sized screen shoved in its place.
Last Fall, a technician finally came (late with dirty shoes). He stuck a screw in the bay window frame as a temporary stopgap measure (to keep the frame from falling off). He said he'd have Sierra Window Concepts call us in a couple weeks to schedule someone with the proper equipment to fix the window. They never called back. Finally, in November (after numerous calls to the sales manager, the main office, etc.) I spoke with the service department where they claimed that their reports said everything was repaired properly.
Another technician arrived in January. He took the mis-shapen window screen and said they would get another one in a couple weeks. He said that yet another technician will fix the casement window when the new screen comes.
Today, another technician came. He said I have to talk w- Sierra Windows to have somebody else fix the bay window frame. He also told me that the sliding window wasn't installed properly so he couldn't put the screen on.
This company has shown no sense of urgency for this problem. The only excuses they have given for themselves is that they had to fire 2 of their technicians, so it looks like a very poorly managed company.
