I had registered a request with Sify Callcenter for a new Broadband connection at my residence in Navi Mumbai. I was promised that a service man shall visit/contact me in 24 hrs. As no one called or visited me, I called up again. I was told it shall be escalated further. After 10 days, no person contacted and I was calling them to get the status, as it was urgent for me. I also informed the call center rep. that my neighbor uses Sify connection and they just need to inform the local service provider (SSV cables) to visit my place and give a quotation. After 15 days, I asked for number of Sify seniors in Chennai to escalate the matters. No one responds on the numbers in Chennai. The phone hangs abruptly. This is pathetic state of service. The licenses of such service providers should be revoked ASAP and provided to some one who can really serve the mankind.
If they cannot provide services to potential new customers than imagine their service to existing customers.
