heres what happened: my 5 year old daughter was allowed to wear these in her kindergarten class. well, one day, a boy (no name please!) started to fling these all around the classroom. well, wothout her knowing it, one of these bandz hit her head! well, she started to scream and cry because it hurt her. well, after school, she was holding my hand when she let go. as usual, i grew EXTREMELY concerned. i looked around to go and see my daughter flinging these back at the boy that ahrmed her first. im asolutely shocked that this didnt go into the news. well, anyway, turns out that they were fighting with them. he literally shot one DIRECTLY ON HER EYE!!! then, she shot one into his. she was immeadiately sent into the hospital, and they said that she had shot a vain in her eye. she just kept saying "ouch mama! this hurts!!" and she was also crying constantly, too. well, she was hurt REALLY BADLY & the teacher felt so bad that she stopped allowing these in the class again. im glad that the teacher did that. i really am. i am also VERY glad that my daughter is perfectly healthy and happy. still some pain. but, she takes tylonel, NOT alleve, for the pain. it seems to work. but, i also REALLY think that the teacher should've taken the appropraite action a bit earlier, never letting them wear the silly bandz until their are a bit more mature, like in 5th grade or something...
