We contracted with Lowe's (Fernly)for the construction of approximately one hundred feet of vinyl fencing. This included one walkway gate and one eleven foot wide, two section, gate for entry into the rear yard. Silver State Fence & Stain were subcontractors to build the fencing.

Slipshod work. Promises not kept. Times when they did not show it may have been raining someplace but not at the construction site.

Our major quality concern is with the two gates. The larger gate for entry into the rear yard was of their own design. It would have been fine for a horse coral - but not for a home.

After we shared our concerns with Lowe's, Silver State Fence & Stain did rebuild this gate. It was rebuilt to narrow the gap between the two gate sections as well as close the hinge area gap between each section and the mounting poles. It is too bad that they did not build it to this design from the beginning.

Our second concern is with a walkway gate. Within the first week following it's assembly it was starting to fracture. When I mentioned these fractures to the son of the owner his only comment was that I would have to take this condition up with the manufacture of the product.

We have learned that payment has been made to Silver State Fence & Stain by Lowe's so that is that last we will hear from them. We have yet to hear from Lowe's regarding our claim with the manufacturer of the vinyl fencing.
