This is a blow by blow e-mail account of the wretched experience AND education my wife and I received dealing with Success-Rules, LLC.
Ha-ha! Success rules-- we were fools!

Leinati Hackley:
This whole affair has been my fault. On the morning of May 19th, I heard a radio spot promoting a "free 30 day trial" for The Simple Way To An A while listening to Christian radio KGNW AM820, a Salem Communications station broadcasting from Seattle, Washington. As a regular listener to KGNW, I expect to be encouraged and equipped to face the many challenges life presents us, with a trust in Jesus Christ and a hope in His care and provision. During the twenty or more years of tuning in to the Christian teaching and talk on KGNW, I have endured many commercial spots between the programs with a measure of tedium and patience. I realize that these repeated advertisements are necessary, because the businesses help sponsor the programming I need and enjoy. It is also understood that, as a radio station that promotes Christian lifestyle and values, the businesses advertising on KGNW should exhibit honesty and ethical committment to their patrons. I assumed that the company you represent, Success-Rules, LLC, would treat their potential customers with truthfulness and integrity.
I was wrong.
Your company has abused my trust.
My wife, Sharon appreciated my help in forwarding the preview of The Simple Way To An A, but felt that the curriculum was not viable for the children, nor was it worth the payments expected if she kept the package. At this time, I am between jobs and collecting U.I., so it's way out of my budget. My wife had to pay $22 to ship it back on June 16th. Then you refused to accept the package and shipped it back. She tried to contact you many times before you finally responded (poorly). I was grieved when I found that I had been charged $89.95 on June 11. I left one or two phone messages myself with no response. I went to my bank to sort things out, and I was furious when I was told that you hit me for another $89.95 on July 10th. I had to surrender my card and wait for a new one to be mailed in seven days, or pay $15 to receive it in two or three days!
I called your company and left a couple of more impassioned messages with no response.
I am astonished with your naivete at best, or at worst, your unabashed depravity and duplicity.
You have the audacity to offer us to keep your product for the two charges of $89.95 on my card.
I did not "pay" you, I was charged without authorization! You have added further stress and difficulty to a family already swamped with myriad challenges. Clearly, the support of your success rules-- not the children of the families who have been defrauded. Well, I have certainly been educated. So has my wife and many others.
How about directing your care for the customer in deed and in truth?
We do not want your product.
Issue the RMA# to my wife, Sharon in Canada to the address below, and thus, pay for the shipping with a smile and call her and offer a sincere apology.

Leinati, do the right thing. God will honor you for it.
Also, to the man behind the voice: Shame on you! It's better to be poor and ethical than the opposite of both.
God is merciful to the humble penitent. I am praying for your good.
Sincerely,

Yaacov Reuven,
I can issue a RMA# to return the program. However, I would like to offer you to keep the program for the two payments you have paid and close the account rather than for you to pay to return the program. If you would like to take this offer please reply and let me know.
If there is anything else we can help you with please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,

Sharon Reuven,
If you can provide me with the tracking information you received to prove you returned the program within the 30 days then I can assist you with giving you and RMA# to return the program. Unfortunetly the reason the program was refused because you didn't follow the Return Policy instructions.
Once you have provided me with the tracking information I can assist you further.
If there is anything else we can help you with please feel free to contact us.
Thank you,

Subject: parcel returned
Hi. My name is Sharon Reuven, but you have me listed under Yaacov Reuven. I just received back the package that I’d sent off to return to you. I’m a bit upset.
On May 19th I received a parcel with your Simple Way to an A kit to check out for 30 days. I didn’t order it myself. At this time I am separated from my husband (Yaacov). I homeschool our three children. He heard about your program and thought it might be good for us. So without checking with me first, he ordered it. It was a nice thought, but I have tons of curriculum and programs and we don’t need any more.
So . . . on May 19th your parcel arrived. I opened it and called your customer service number. We had lots of things on the go and I wanted to make sure I returned it before the 30 days was up so I left a message asking when the 30 days started . . . on the day you mailed it out? or the day I received it? (things take longer to get here—Canada ) I received no call back.
Then we went camping for a week and after that to an out-of-town wedding. When we got back I put the parcel in the mail to you. That was June 16th. It cost $22. Today is July 2nd and I just opened the door to find the postman handing me back your package.
Again I called you, but again, couldn’t talk to a person. Hopefully someone will call me back. But thank you for providing an email address.
I’m very frustrated. I can’t believe I paid $22 to send it all the way to you in California and you sent it all the way back here. I can’t believe it. And I never even ordered it in the first place! (I know that part is not your fault, but that fact is definitely adding to my frustration.)
So . . . why in the world was it not received by you? I have all the postal documentation and have checked the address—it is correct. I sent it to: 7850 Ruffner Ave. Dept. 4000 Van Nuys, CA 91406
How do you want me to get this package back to you if you won’t receive it on your end? Is there a way for you to pay for it this time? If not, what should I do with it? I’m not about to pay another $22. I hope you have not charged Yaacov for the cost of these materials.
My phone number is xxxxxxxxxx. I’m going out shortly and will be home after supper tonight, and I’m off tomorrow so should be around if you are able to call then.
Thank you for your time and for whatever you can do to help me with this.
Sincerely,
Sharon Reuven

PS. I’m not mad, I’m just a bit stressed, and I don’t mean to make anyone there feel badly, for I’m certain your intent wasn’t to stress me out . . . but I do want to get this resolved. I’m sure you have an excellent program, it’s just that I’m maxed out with life as it is and am not able at this point to even put the effort into seriously checking your program out . . . . what we have been doing school-wise is working for us, so we’ll just continue doing what we’re doing.
All the best to you with your efforts to provide quality materials to students—homeschooled or “regular”-schooled.
