Be careful if you deal with SinglesNet.com!
I was receiving quite a few notices from woman saying that I could write them back if I wanted to. I became suspicious that singlesnet was tricking me when I emailed the ladies that I had received the notices from and they did not write back to me. This happened many times. I then took a closer look at these email notices that I received from the alleged woman. The ones that were tricks were the ones that said -- (One to one match notification) Saying that I could respond back to the person if I wanted to ---I thought that meant the lady was inviting me to write back to her.

It was later when I took this whole thing to the better business borough that singlesnet admitted that "The one to one match notification is a computer generated message."

Singlesnet claims they will give you your money back if your not completely satisfied, I called their phone number quite a few times and was just left on hold each time. That's when I contacted the better business borough.

In addition to tricking me into becoming a paying member with their one to one match notification, Singlesnet also billed my credit card without my permission. I don't go to the singlesnet site any more so I don't know if they are still using the same tricks but if you deal with them, Be careful.

Jim.

Scam and cheating!
Singlesnet.com - Here is the scam I think they are doing but can't confirm because I wont sacrifice the safety of my CC. I started a free account - which allows you to upload a profile and photo. With this free account you can send flirts at each other for free. Well, after a day or so - not one, but a few really, really hot girls wanted to talk to me. They sent me flirts saying - "I want to talk". This of course requires a membership and that's where the scam comes in. I'm not going to do it to find out for certain but I know what happens next according to what I've read and just street smarts in general- that girl will never talk to me again and I will have a silly membership to this place for a month with a CC , that I hear on this site - will be held hostage anyway.

In conclusion - I think this company is making these really hot and interested women up so sell memberships to guys looking for love. Guys like me are being targeted for this one time monthly membership than they are continuing to bill there credit cards despite the agreement.

Guys!!! That really hot chick is not real - and she will not be there once you sign up. I can feel this scam in my bones.

Fraud & cheating!
SinglesNet.com is another site that says that puts up, in many cases, obviously fake profiles and then uses some automated system to send interest, winks and messages from these fake profiles (in my case, from women), who don't exist. This is done to make you pay. I know this for a fact because I set up 3 different accounts (various reasons why, one being living in multiple places). Don't fall for this. Go to any other big dating site, they are, for the most part, legit. SinglesNet is NOT legit. This must be being done with the owners approval. Amazing. Stay away...

Poor service!
They claim free singles dating and that members can contact each other free. That is a lie. No one who is a member can contact anyone directly unless they upgrade to an expensive membership. It's bullshit like most of these sites. People don't want the government to snoop into their private lives or invade the internet but unfortunately these people who are ripping everyone else make the case for government intervention because they are conducting deceptive business practices. Other sites that are doing the same and even worse and should be prosecuted for such deception are Adult Friend Finder, Asian Friend Finder, Asian Sex dates, Smut Vibes, Passion.Com, Senior Friend Finder.Com, Amateur Match.Com, Mate One.Com, Lonely Wives. Com, There are more and all of them are conducting a criminal business.

Beware!

Singlesnet is a complete SCAM!
I just had to fill a complaint against Singlesnet.com and also the BBBOnline for giving them a "seal" of approval. Singlesnet is a complete SCAM. I am not going to say that there are not "real" people on the site because there might be a few, but I would say the majority are not at all. My experience:

1) Russian scam looking for money (this has happened at least five times).
2) Nigerian scam looking for money (this has happened once).
3) Other "dating/hook-up" sites that send you basically to another bogus site (this has happened at least 10+ times). DO NOT waste your time or money on this site. It is a waste. Not only are most the profiles false, but there are very limited search functions and ways to limit one's search. The site might be better in large metropolitan areas, but I would imagine that there would be just as many fake profiles there too.

Be careful if you do decide to join. Check locations against what they say in their profile, if doesn't match then it might be a good sign that they aren't real. Also check spelling, Russian's can't spell and have an odd way of forming sentences. Nigerians are completely ignorant of American culture, but can spell very well. The last warning is if looks to good to be true, it is.

I am more upset at the BBB for giving them an "endorsement" even though their site says that they don't endorse anyone. Their seal is on the Singlesnet's website, that to anyone going to the site is saying "hey this is a legitimate company." Singlesnet is far from being legitimate and now I am questioning the legitimacy of BBBOnline. I hope this helps someone. As I told someone the other day "the Internet is half lies and the the other half is fabricated truth" and that is a good why of summing up Singlsnet.

Pretty sneaky. Avoid!
Here's how I got sucked in. Replied to a craigslist personal. She said her profile is on this website and sign up is free. She even gave me her user name so I could find her there. So of course to sign up meant email address etc, etc. (but free at this point). Guess what? She is nowhere to be found in there (I've since learned she is non-existent and I got an automated response) and now I have a profile in there whether I want one or not. And of course I have dozens of women winking at me who I am sure are bogus too because to talk to them means you have to sign up and pay. Pretty sneaky. Avoid!

Taking money from my bank account
I was a remember of singlesnet.com, and became very dissatisfied with their service, and decided to have them stop billing my C.C in May. I did it on their website and checked the box where it said to Stop Billing MY account. But their was also a message their that said i could use it until the membership ran out. Well, i go into June and was still able to use the service. To make a long story short, they were still Billing my account long after i told them to stop. They say i continued using their service. Their is something wrong with their Website. Do not give any C.C information to them they will continue to bill your card if you try to cancel online. I think i need to hire a lawyer, anyone else experienced this from singles net??

Fraud and cheating!
I have wrote to singlesnet explaining that i get 90% scam mail from there fake members from all over the united states and other countries, which for the most part are obvious, but they choose to ignore this fact. So they wont be in business for long i am sure. After all its all the fake fu***ng bots that make them there money by getting people to join so they are just as much a part of the scam by aiding the scammers or are the scammers as well.

Beware!

Fraud and cheating!
Unfortunately, I did not do my research before signing on to Singlesnet.com. Thankfully, I did not and refuse to pay for these types of services. I can remember the days when most dating sites were free of charge and so much fun to browse and even connect to another person. Singlesnet may advertise this as a special offer for a short period of time but, what they don't offer you is honesty. No sooner than I finished my questionnaire, I was receiving emails of people who were supposedly interested in me. Impossible! They couldn't have had time to read the profile. There are issues when trying to log in. It continues to take you back to log in when clicking on "My Email". I have apologized in advance in my profile to those who may be seriously seeking a partner. It is unfortunate that finding a companion has even become a business.
