I saw an add on facebook advertizing a free trial + shipping and handling for Lift SP . There were comments about satisfied customers from my city, in Quebec, Canada. Unfortunatly, I cannot find this add, but the whole thing was supposed to cost me 8 $ and I have been charge for 113.02 $ on my credit card!
When you see "free trial" written in large prints and the amount it should cost crossed with a large X, you tend to trust the company. Mistake.
I called the company and they refered me to the fine prints on their Website which I had already read. What reassured me is that the information below was clearly written:
Customers may cancel AT ANY TIME, ... AND AVOID INCURRING ANY FINANCIAL OBLIGATION OTHER THAN SHIPPING AND HANDLING.
This is false advertizing. It is presented in a dishonnest manner.
Something is definitly NOT right here and I will make sure that everybody knows about this scam and plan to contact as many radio and tv consummer show, Oprah, 60 minutes, etc...
I will call them again, asking again for a refund that should be granted to me according to what is written on their website.
I even offered to send the products back... if they get it back, why is it a problem to reimburse my money?
Companies like this one make a bad name for honnest compagnies who do their businness from the Web.
