BB&T Merchant Services will screw you over in a heart beat. They will not support the merchant over bad customers. They will also go into all of your checking accounts and steal money out of them and move to what ever Merchant Account you have set up and rob you blind and then afterward, send you a little note saying "Oh by the way, you are broke".
We have a NO RETURN POLICY for our company, as the product we sell is expensive equipment an we don't have store front. So you buy it, it's yours, the end. We have a policy that is stated plainly, clearly, no room for misunderstanding. IF we decide to allow a customer to return something we have to make sure OUR vendor will even except it back. Then there may be restocking fees, AND we have to wait up to 3 weeks for OUR refund in order to return money back to our custmer. But merchant services TOTALLY disregards our policy and give customers ALL their money back through VISA. Our policy states that the customer must pay ALL shipping, insurance and restocking fees. PERIOD. That is if we will even allow them to make a return. And they may have to wait for their refund as they don't get their until we get ours. But OH NO!!! Visa sticks it too you and BBT Merchant Services sets you up then tears you down. So not only did we end up losing all shipping for a $4, 800 product but we have to pay restock fees and also BBT wants $500 from us on top of everything. They left me with $34. AND the money they took out of my operating account did not belong to me, it belongs to another customer who's equiptment is waiting to be shipped. Now I have nothing to buy his equipment with. So thank you for all of your loyalty to me as a business owner trying to service this horrible economy and support my family. I will see you in court!!! Your ass is mine.
