I bought an entertainment unit, paid full and agreed the delivery day on the 27 Dec despite I reminded the lady several times that the 27th is public holiday. She said no problem and would be delivered on the 27.
Waited until 12 AM today and decided to give them a call. They told me they couldn't deliver today because of public holiday. The only possible time for me to accept the furniture again is on the upcoming weekend on 1st January but it's public holiday again. So I decided to get a refund as I don't want to wait 2 more weeks for the furniture. Then I was told I would be penalized 20% of the full price to cancel and she insisted that is stated in the Terms and Conditions that I was never told when I paid the money. The lady (Amanda) hanged out on me several times and kept telling me she was busy and never got back to me. Very upset and will never buy from them again. They were nice and smiling when we were in the shop before buying anything. That's the worst furniture store and customer service you ever want to have.
