Unauthorized "Membership Charge"
Fraudulant charges made to my credit card account for a book I ordered as a gift, then was signed up, WITHOUT my authorization, for a $19.95 month Membership fee. When I called after repeatedly asking about the money that was taken without my consent the story kept changing about the amount I could be refunded. First it was 19.95 and they would cancell my subscription, then it was $20.00 finally it went to $40.00, of the $140.00 they owe me. I will be pursuing this MUCH farther.

unauthorized transaction
While in the process of paying a credit card bill, i noticed four consecutive payments of $19.95 billed to my account from a company called smart savings center. I have no ideal who they are, what they are, or how they got my credit card infomation.

fraudelent withdrawls
my wife ordered a book thinking she was saving some money. she never received the book and was billed $19.95 three months in a row. she cancelled last month, asked for a refund for the book and is continuing to be billed.what can we do.

unauthorized deduction from bank account
I ordered a book from Amazon through their website. In a day or so, a charge appeared from Smart Savings Center. I have not consciously approved or authorized any charge from this entity. Today a second deduction ($19.95) appeared. How do I get rid of this monthly charge and get my money back?

unauthorized charges
I bought a curious buddies dvd for my daughter from Smart savings center and got an excellent price and fast shipping on it, however they did not say that my account was going to be charged $20. everymonth from there on out, it was no where in the fine print even! Then today I found they had gone ahead and charged my credit card all kinds of fees etc. This is a Rip off!! I highly discourage anyone to buy anything from here!!

I received another charge of $19.95 from Smart Savings Center dated 6/7 on my Master Card account. This is the second month in a row that amount has been charged. I have no idea what these charges are for. Please cancel this charge and please stop any future charges to my account.<br />

I received a charge of $19.95 from Smart Savings Center dated 5/7 on my Master Card account. I have no idea what this charge is for.

HIDDEN MEMBERSHIP CHARGES
I placed an order with DBS Books and the order was cancelled because the item was out of stock. The book cost was $4.95.
Two days later I received a charge from Smart Savings Center in the amount of $12. which they explained was for a membership I joined when I placed the initial order. I told them to cancel the membership and refund my $12. After 6 weeks the money was refunded.
A few weeks later Smart Savings Center charged my card again in the amount of $19.95 they told me that was another membership I joined the same day I placed the initial order. I demanded my money to be refunded but they stated that it was past the 30 day membership trial and the money couln't be refunded.
What a rip-off, I am contacting the BBB to report these fraudulent charges that I wasn't aware of upon joining what I thought was coupon savings towards book orders with no fees attached.

unauthorized charges to my daughter's account
smartsavingscenter.com made these charges to my 16 year old daughter's account without
her even knowing these were being made.
she bought a perfume online from another website and somehow smartsavingscenter.com got
ahold of her information and account # and started charging monthly fees until her account
was overdrawn!
We are now disputing these charges with our bank and who knows if we will get our money back.
This is very upsetting that they can do this, rip off people with no consequences as they are still
doing the same to other unsuspecting victims!
