As a former employee of Smarkurve or "TwistedKurve" as I like to think of them, all I can say is that this company is a disgrace.
He went through many many teachers and the school was not happy with him.
He also does not pay people on time nor pay them in full.
I've been reading all the recent complaints and have also been told through a source that Kirk only paid one employee HALF of their full salary. Apparently Kirk told them he didn't pay them in full because: "You changed schools".
I also heard how some teachers only got about 5000 Baht for this month!!
That's how it was when I was their. His very strong refusal to PAY his own employees is just ridiculous. Moreover, his quick resort to violence and threats certainly don't help his image.
And YES! As practically everyone has mentioned on these complaints, he threatens virtually everyone saying that, "I will call MY PEOPLE" (you gotta love that part), "and have the police arrest you and then you will be deported".

It has come to our attention that you have made a slander against my company and the management. If you don't want a potential lawsuit at hand, we suggest that you delete and refrain to make any more slanders. If further transgressions from you are made, we will have to proceed to our lawyers to contact you promptly.

If not a message like this that you get in your inbox one day, he will try and bring his dad in to help fight his fight. Most importantly as others have written, it was amazing for me to see and hear about how a so called grown man truly behaves like some punk 18 year old kid cussing people out, getting into fights, and most commonly, making threats against people's lives with intent to do bodily harm.
At one point when I was working as a head teacher, he tried to blame me for everyone getting paid late because I gave the sign in sheet to the Thai teacher.
I explained to him that since I was not the head teacher, it was not my responsibility and it WAS in fact his fault all along for not paying us. He didn't like my response and began to threaten me saying that I had failed as a head teacher.
I told him that "Fine, you want to fire me? Go ahead!"
Somehow, things cooled down but I always despised him after that couldn't wait for my work to be over with and then start a new job before the semester finished because I just couldn't stand him!
Kirk, you and your company are nothing but lies lies lies!!
Stay away from SmartKurve at all costs!
* Also, the little girl who is his receptionist is one of the most snotty stuck up people I've ever met.

* Important: He also has operated under the name "Edknovate" but I assume because of all the complaints filed against him, he'll only be posting for new positions under the SmartKurve name on the job websites. Beware of this name as it harbors the same discontent that Edknovate does.
