Bought this product and was not satisfied in the least bit. called to cancle further charges and was hung up on the second i expressed that i no longer wanted them to send me refills. scam scam scam. my mom had to shut down her bank account to stop the charges, she lost about $150 in this fiasco. f*ck smoke assasin. f*ck them.

In December I ordered a kit for a Christmas present and rethought it to be a gift that probably wasn't proper to give, and called the next day after I ordered it and was told it too late to cancel the order because it had already ben processed. I was told how when it was received, to return it back and would receive a full reimbursement. To this day I have not received it. I sent it u.s. post office registered mail, received the signed receipt from your company, so it was received on your end. Please get back to me with the reimbursement amount.

I ordered my smoke assasin on October 3rd and allowed them to sign me up for additional services that could be "cancelled with a phone call" once the information on American Leisure and some other company arrived with my order. I called a month later, was put on endless hold 4 times before speaking with a rep. I was told that the order was processed and sent out on 10/13/09 and that they could authorize shipment of a "replacement" right away. It is another month later, I have no product, charges coming in for services not provided and no response on the service center number given at the time of my original contact. Maybe orders were overwhelming...maybe they can't keep up...I feel duped and can't get a response from the company, even though they billed my account within 72 hours of my order.
Anyone have any suggestions. These people need to have their chains yanked. Fraud is fraud and the country has put up with enough theivery for a lifetime. Help me stand up and fight cheaters like this!!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS!CHARGED MY CARD AND NEVER SENT ANY PRODUCT.WHEN I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHERE IT WAS I WAS TOLD IT WAS MAILED THREE WEEKS EARLIER AND THAT NO FURTHER INFO WAS AVAILABLE.WHEN I REQUESTED A REFUND THE REP HUNG UP.i CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ASKED FOR A SUPERVISOR AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR 25 MINUTES.wHEN SUPERVISOR FINALLY ANSWERED HE TOLD ME I SHOULD LEARN TO BE PATIENT, THAT THEY WERE VERY BUSY BECAUSE OF ALL THE RESPONSE FROM THE TV ADS.AGAIN I REQUESTED A REFUND AT WHICH TIME THE SO CALLED SUPERVISOR, HUNG UP ON ME ALSO.IT'S BECOME OBVIOUS FROM READING ALL THE COMPLAINTS THEY NEVER INTENDED TO SEND ME ANYTHING.IN HINDSIGHT I SHOULD'VE CHECKED THE POSTINGS BEFORE I PURCHASED BUT YOU LIVE AND LEARN!

Your email was forwarded to me and as the Program Director of WIP, you deserve a through response. We take it very serious when a good listener has a good reason to write an email to the station.

This is an awkward situation because you are right on every account; we value our listeners and our reputation very much. We try hard to make sure that anybody advertising on WIP is honest and reputable. To the best of my knowledge we have had no other complaints about Smoke Assassin. That is in no way to imply that your email and circumstance is not accurate. I appreciate your bringing this to my attention. I will make both the General Manager and Sales Manager aware of what happened to you and we will investigate the product and company further.

I apologize for the bad experience you had with this company. If I find anything else out that will be useful, I will contact you again.

I am a very devoted listener of WIP for the past 14 years and I am happy to say that I not only I enjoy listening to the program but I often use and acquire products and services that are advertised on your radio station. A few weeks back I heard an advertisement from a company called Smoke Assassin that sounded like a very good offer for a product that I thought would really benefit me. I called the advertised number and purchased the product. Ever since then it has been an absolute nightmare as I quickly found out that instead of dealing with a legitimate enterprise I am involved in a carefully crafted scam legitimized by the use of reputable media outlets . They do not even want to take a phone call about the product that never arrived and refuse to speak with me. I know that WIP cherishes their reputation and although I completely understand that this is a question of advertising dollars for your company I am sure that you are unaware of the fact that you are inadvertently involved in a scam that defrauds your devoted listeners. I am obviously going to be fine because it is a simple matter of dispute through my Credit Card company but I did want to bring this to your attention because as an owner of a business I would want to know if I am being used for something that is not legitimate.
