DO NOT EVEN DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY... Smoke Assassin, Smoke Assist and Smoker's Saviour are all the same scam- just divided to hide their defective product and WORST customer service I have ever experienced. After months of no product that worked, I spent my own money to ship back the defectives next day with a long letter. I called back to see noone has read my compaints- in fact the service rep hung upon me, only after he told me that my credit card had to charged again if I wanted another sent to me. I am out $200 and have nothing but a pain in my ass to show for it. My letter is copied below...

Dear Assassin Naturals,

Over the past few months, I have tried to be nice, tried to be patient, but now I have simply run out of both. It seems very convenient to me that every time I call to complain, the call it automatically dropped. Even after I am promised that a call will be made back to me, it never happened until yesterday (11/4/09). Finally, a helpful customer service member called me back and spent some time on my case…

Since the end of August, I have been waiting for a WORKING model of your product. The first one was promised in 7 days- it took 2.5 weeks. I was still elated to get something that might help me quit smoking so I used the product for a couple hours, then it just stopped working… no light, no smoke. I tried to charge it- still nothing. I called customer service and they had me try a few things, still nothing! I was promised a replacement and waited another 3 weeks for that one. The second one appeared to work great! I used it all day and charged it the next morning. It proceeded to light up but then, there was no smoke.

I start to wonder if this is just a defective product and I am out $80.00. After several dropped calls to your customer service, I was told I had a defective atomizer…. then, no, it’s the battery…. Well, we’ll just send out new parts. That was over a month ago. For the past two weeks I have been calling and once I was told that it hasn’t been sent out yet. After a couple more calls, I was told that it had all ready been shipped out… You should get it by Wednesday… no Monday… if you don’t get it by Friday then we will refund your money. Maybe you are beginning to see my never-ending frustration with your company? I am told one thing, then another, dropped calls, no answers, no working product and I’m out $80.00.

First of all, there are no real instructions that come with your product and no answers to any questions that a consumer might have, not even on your website. Yesterday, I was finally given some attention and found out that it has NOT been shipped out. Were the others lying? I was told I needed to send back the parts to receive another model or my money back. Can you please tell me why it took me over two months to find that out!? Especially, when I was sent a second model, no questions asked. I understand your dilemma and fear of giving out free product; however, can you understand my need to document and prove that I was sent defective merchandise? Your statement of one out of every 1000 is defective has to be false, otherwise I would have won the lottery by now!

Enclosed you will find the two defective cigarettes sent to me along with a USB charger. For my lost time and aggravation, the extra money in shipping, I would think it only fair that you send me a working model as soon as possible… not in another three weeks. You may believe in your product, but forgive me if I am leary that this entire thing is a complete scam. I will try this one more time and if I receive another defective product, I expect a full refund.
