Credit card over charged and nobody answers when I call to resolve issue
I ordered smooth away from getsmoothaway.com and it didn't tell me how much the shipping would be. I then got an email confirming my order for $14.99 with a $13 shipping and handling fee and a 4-6 weeks wait. I immediately called to cancel but nobody answered. In the mean time, I found out that my credit card was charged for over $80. I finally reached someone at smooth away and cancelled my order. They said that I would receive an email confirming the cancelation. Today, I got an email saying that my order has been shipped. I have called all day and no one answers.

I have also been getting telemarketing calls saying that I ordered from one of their partners and offering me suspect deals. It is very frustrating.

VERY UNHAPPY
Keep in mind that when you place an order for this product they ask for you credit card number first then they want all of your other information, and never give you a chance to talk to any actual person.
I wanted to place an order with Smooth Away for $14.99 pads with $6.99 s & h. I did not want the additional second set of pads for the additional $6.99. I was not able to decline the second set. I just moved and I did not even get the address entered correctly and there was no way of correcting it. While checking my account I was charged $28.97 I have been calling many phone numbers to cancel this order and if it is not a busy signal, I am asked to call back another day when business is slow or they just hang up after telling me that they are busy. Phone numbers called: 1-866-262-2603, 1-800-765-2994, 1-800-899-9910, 1-866-655-4341, 1-800-691-9898, 1-818-485-3014, and1-888-326-0979 which is the number for a shaver.

This is not what it says, this is sandpaper on plastic. Its is 80grid sandpaper, you stick to the plastic, and then you rub your skin. You don't notice at first but you are rubbing off your skin and NO hair is bieng removed. After a few hours the area that you rubbed is soar kind like a sunburn or 2nd degree burn. This is a terrible product and no one should buy this.

shipping and handling charge
I ordered product, which came to $34.97. At the time of order, I was not told shipping charges. They charged me $25.96 shipping and handling. Much overcharged for a small 2 lb. package. It has arrived. I did not open. Am sending it back. And calling for a refund.

Overcharged my account and have not received product
I placed an order with Smooth Away for $14.99 and also for an additional set of pads. I was not given my final amount to be charged on my account. After waiting 4 weeks and not receiving anything I checked my account to see if I had been charged. Not only was I charge the $14.99 but no second set free but an additional $19.98 for extra pads and another $39.94 for shipping for a total of $89.90. That is a large amount from the $14.99 they offer on TV.
I called to cancel and asked for a refund. The lady I spoke to said it was no problem she would cancel and the refund would be placed in my account the next day. The next day I received an email letting me know the product was shipped and of course NO refund in my account. I called again and they explained that it would take 3-5 days to be credited to my account and I would need to return the product. When I asked to be transferred to a supervisor, I was given a recording that asked me to call back during normal business hours... 6 - 4:00. I was calling a 8:30 in the morning. I called and was transferred seven times and received the same recording AFTER telling the rep that I was receiving that message. This company is very unprofessional with a lot of underlying issues. cancelled order and still was charged
I had made order online and it roped into a deal it stated.After taking my card information it didn't tell me what it was charging my card.I called a rep about and told her that don't to do business with a company that won't show the final amount being charged and she apologized and told me she cancelled the order.Guess what? My bank indicated that they did 60.93!!! as I was hot and called them and told me I sorry its already shipped and can over discount. I told them it was suppose to be shipped and he told me that there is no record and would have to refuse order and than refund!!!Thats not good service!!

monthly fee charged to my credit card
Once i placed my order i received a notice of a monthly fee for $19.95 to be charged to my credit card for a monthly membership fee. (Value Plus Trial Period) I simlpy placed an order. I do not want a membership in anything. Can you help?
