We bought a new Snapper ZTR mower just 14 months ago and I have never bought a product of such poor quality. We have owned the mower for only 8 months of grass cutting and we only cut 2 lawns with it for a total service time of 3 hours every 7-10 days, but in that time the fuel pump has failed, the battery has needed replacement and the oil has leaked contributing to engine damage. The result has been that the mower has been "in the shop" for repairs for 6-8 weeks of the mowing season. I will never buy another Snapper product. It is a marginal design and the quality of parts and workmanship is simply very poor.
