Fraud Billing
BEWARE I GOT SUCKED IN CANCELLED RIGHT AWAY. THEY SAID THEY WEOULD NOT GIVE ME A REFUND. FINE, WHATEVER, BUT THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD CANCEL AND I WOULD NEVER BE BILLED AGAIN...GUESS WHAT 14 MONTHS LATER A CHARGE APPEARS IN MY CARD FROM SNAPPY. SO EVEN IF YOU CANCEL THEY STILL BILLED. I AM NOW GOING TO FILE AN AFFIDAVIT TO GET MY MONEY BACK VIA PAYPAL AND THEN I AM GOING TO CHANGE MY ACCOUNT NUMBER SO NEXT YEAR THEY CANNOT BILL AGAIN. LAST YEAR I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB REGARDING THE FIRST CHARGE. THE GEORGIA ATTORNEYS GENERAL CONTACTED ME AND TOLD ME THEY ARE INVESTIGATING THIS COMPANY. snappy sucks!!!!!!!!!!
Snappy sucks!!! I have had it for months and I absolutely hate it!!! Supposedly, the damn music download program downloads songs with a high bit rate. YEAH RIGHT? If you try to play a song with a bit rate higher than 192, the damn song won't play. Oh and it is not remotely compatible with the latest itunes version. (I don't remember what version it is, but it is so old that it prohibits you from watching movies on itunes) I would try to watch a movie on snappy, but they are still living in the stone age, and movie downloads just don't make sense to them. It is has also caused bad viruses as well. STUPID MUSIC DOWNLOAD PROGRAM!!! WHAT A FUCKIN SCAM!!!

Fraud/Scam
They don't tell you they are charging you for P2P software you can get yourself for free elsewhere. They make it sound as if you're getting something new. No customer support even though they claim 24/7. Says you cancel at any time, but charges for FULL year's worth of use up front with no refunds given...even if you cancel same day with no downloaded software to use it or music files accessed. TOTAL AND COMPLETE SCAM!!!

I signed up for this service and within ten minutes while starting to download their info to start to listen to music I noticed that they do share files and I don't want my computer exposed and accessible to anyone else, so I immediately contacted them to cancel my membership. Even though their 24/7 online support wasn't working I submitted a ticket. I was told that their policy is that they don't give refund and I should have read their terms better. This all took place before they actually billed me and then after I submitted a copy of their policy to them they copied another one stating that they have a no refund policy and then charged me again to the 2 year membership...they took the other charge off but I let them know that I was going to pursue any and all remedies against them for an unauthorized withdrawal from my account . Let's get them!!! By the way below is a copy of their refund policy that I agreed to.

By purchasing a Membership, you agree to abide strictly by our refund policy, as set forth herein. misleading and deceit
you have allowed this ORGINAZATION to mislead the public through an ad placed with you. don't you check these people out? If you haven't you should. I have always trusted your ads in the past.I am very dissapointed and feel as thoughyou are as responsible as I am foolish.

The # they give no one answers. When you go on live chat they still won't get you any answers. The result is they take your money and you get nothing and no one call you back.

Snappy music
I have always put the utmost faith and trust in Google. I am finding out now at I'm not so sure of that. You are allowing a scam to exist. They are in yor pay per clicks on the right side of the browser. They call themselves Snappy Music. They are ripping peple off for $50.00 They took a version of Limewire, changed the color from green to blue and selling "memberships" for supposed 100% legal music downloads. They scammed me for the $50.00. There needs to be something done about this immediately. Do you support scams?

Snappy Music.COM is the most despicable site I've ever got duped into subscribing to. Don't download from the Snappy Music site. Don't give them your credit card. I researched download music sites on Google before I got sucked into this and one site called onlinemusicreviews.info named them the best. Also downloadsonline.org, cbtopsites.com, goarticles.com ; all recommended Snappy Music. Snappy also claims to be #1 rated music download site. Don't believe any of it!!! This site is a ripoff and exercises very unscrupulous business practices. READ ON.
The download instructions tell you to turn off your firewall and security programs until it is finished downloading. Then when I turned security back on all kinds warning questions came flooding onto my screen...registry entry changes, activex files...etcetera. Well I know it said it would use Java in the download and lots of programs change the registry entries...so I allowed them thinking this was normal procedure for most downloads.
What a horror!!! The download allows other users to upload music and God know what else right off of your computer without telling you what they are doing in there. Oh, it asked some nonspecific questions during download... if I would allow this file or that, but I had no idea what the implications were. There was no full disclosure nor specific instructions as to what was being allowed. Just do you want to or not. I had no idea I was giving permission to access MY computer files to the general membership. No description of how it works, no description of the implications of harm, no description of how to limit access. Maybe if you're a geek you'd understand what was going down...but no way a plain ole ordinary consumer was properly informed.
The reviews I referenced said it was safe and legal and I thought I was buying music from a site that had a library of it's own on file. Wrong! This is some kind of file sharing program that 'charges you' to let other people ino your computer files.
They boast fast download speeds, and I have a high speed wireless connection, but it took sixteen minutes to download my first and only song. When I notices that there were 4 entities to which I was uploading files I tried to immediately uninstall the program. Guess what? THE UNINSTALL BUTTON DOES NOT WORK. After 5 attempts to uninstall, the executable Snappy Music program is still residing on my computer. But does not even show up in windows control panel under installed programs, and never did, so that was scary in itself. I now think they embed it and all it's components as hidden fies to try to dupe your security program.
The Snappy-Music.com site boasts 24/7 support. So, I immediately contacted support...or tried too. Their toll free number announces 'they regret they cannot take calls at his time'. Their online Live Support is 'temporarily unavailable'. and their help files were flimsy and sparse...so that leaves submitting an online complaint as the only option and they'd issue you a ticket number. I got an automated email reply that they had received my submitted issue with a ticket number, but seven days later I still had not heard from them. I wrote again and again and finally 3 days after my final inquiry to my ticket number, with a threat to enlist an attorney's help, they finally responded in an email. Their only answer to my very detailed explanation of the 'unable to uninstall program' problem was ...'use the uninstall feature'...which didn't work... and was why I contacted them in the first place. It's like nobody even read it...just some robot response.
When I signed up Snappy Music lured me in with an ad tauting just $2.99 a month if you enrolled for 2 years AND you 'can cancel any time and never be billed again'. Yet, they billed my card for the entire 2 years and their policy clearly says no refunds...but it also read to me like they would bill me monthly at $2.99 a month. I thought I'd risk the $2.99 and if it didn't work out I could just cancel. But now I've paid $ 71.76, can't uninstall it, can't get a decent reply, can't talk to anyone, can't get a refund and I'm afraid I let something awful into my computer that sucks away my private files and spies on my internet activity. I did cancel by the way. But can anybody tell me how to uninstall it safely????

no service
I signed up with this company on 2/20/09. Thinking I was paying $3.99 per month, to my surprise my account was charged close to $50.00. I have not been able to reach anyone by phone -- just a recording to go on the website and fill out a "ticket". I have filled out two tickets -- as of 2/24/09 have not heard a thing. The majority of the songs are unable to download -- money will not be refunded. This is a total SCAM -- buyers beware. I also cannot exit out of it, at this point. I am reporting these people to the BBB and am trying to report them to Google to get them off of their site.
