My beautiful and exhausted dog, Olivia has been to her most recent of countless emergency vet vitis. You name it... she has suffered it-much of which was due to genetic deformities. I spent months contacting the breeders who shrugged off each email with their health guarantee not being transferable (my daughter gave me the pup she could no longer afford to care for). With the bills transcending over $12,000 (no joke, I gave up my apartment to pay the bills), I asked them to consider some compensation, they threatened me with a restraining order if I contacted them again. I have been too exhausted with work and care to pursue this as I intend to. I know many dogs have left their dams & sires and I suspect and hope that some are doing quite well, but she is NOT. She is due for elongated pallet surgery next week after she recovers from her bronchitis.
BEWARE OF THESE BREEDERS. Make sure you have $10,000 socked away to care for them. Of course they're adorable, of course they are sweet, and that only makes it harder to watch her suffer.
Anyone know a legal procedure that has been successful...
