We too feel like we've been had! They are indeed "Implying" that the card is a Credit Card that can be used anywhere. This may help some of you who feel as we do, that we were scammed: If you paid the $89 fee with a bank debit card or a credit card, you can call your bank or credit card institution and dispute the charges!!! That's what we have done and called Horizon Gold to tell them that we want to cancel the card and that we are disputing the charge. We haven't filed the charge with our bank yet, however, we have a dispute number from our bank. They told us at Horizon Gold that as long as we haven't filed the complaint that they can cancel the card and return our money within 24 to 48 hours. There is a glitch there: They are only returning $69 because there is a $20 cancelation fee! $69 is better than none in our opinion Hope it helps! Lesson Learned for us!
