i had responded to an on-line advertisement which offered a free trial of an anti-aging facial cream. it asked for $3.95 for a shipping fee which i paid ahead of time. the product arrived but came with a paper where, in very small print at the bottom, it said i had 14 days to decline their offer OR I WOULD BE CHARGE 74.95 EVERY MONTH for recurring supplies of the product. i wrote back immediately (well within the 14 days!) and sent my message to 2 different e-mail addresses listed for sobelabs...both of which implied that customers could send their comments to these addresses. i thanked them for the free trial but said i could IN NO WAY afford that much money on a fixed (and very limited) income. i assumed all was set. BUT TODAY I RECEIVED ANOTHER SHIPMENT. and i have no doubt that the company will try to AUTOMATICALLY debit the money from my bank account! I HVE SENT THE PRODUCT BACK, UNACCEPTED AND UNOPENED, but i need to know what to do to stop getting billed. this company is no longer marketing the product under the sobelabs name...they are calling it something else now...but no matter...I DONT WANT IT AND DONT WANT TO BE CHARGED FOR IT. what can i do???
please respond to [email protected] or call 210 287 3601. thank you.
