I bought some sofas from Ikea for my living room beginning of December. They charged me about 20% of the cost of the merchandise for delivery fees……….
They took three weeks to arrive (they were suppose to take 7 to 10 days), of course they forgot to include the sofa covers. I called to complain and they nicely told me that they would take care of it …..the next day……. I called the next day and then I was told that first they had to call the delivery company to make sure that indeed the sofa covers were not included…… called again the next day and this time, I was informed, “of course everything is taken care of and the competent department was now in charge and they would UPS the covers within a reasonable time and I could expect them in 5 to 7 days….” 6 days later I call again and they gladly inform me that everything is going on schedule, the covers will be UPS the next day and I could expect them in 5 days… 5 days later (Today) call again and again everything is going wonderfully, they send them this morning by UPS and can expect them on Friday… meanwhile I have a Living room full of boxes have open, and sofas getting dirty without the covers…
Ikea definitely knows how to treat its clients with respect.
