fraud
In July of 2009 I went to the Adobe website to upgrade. While there a window popped up saying I could get the better edition for $1.49. So I did the credit card thing and now I see I have been charged $70.80 plus an additonal $52.92. I called and could not get anyone to answer, so I am taking it to the Credit card company to see what they can do.

unauthorized credit card charges
While I was looking for photo software I was tricked into thinking that I was buying the software when Software HQ stole $ 67.00 from me for unlimited downloading of software that you have to pay for and 24 hour support which I don't need. They did not have my permission to charge my mastercard. It took me a week to discover that I had been charged and by that time it was too late to notify them, even though they offer SATISFACTION GUARANTEED . I sent them 3 email message ( support@ software-HQ.net ) and they refused to return my money. I phoned them at 1-800- 784-3167 and the supervisors and managers were very rude, while I remained calm and polite.
They called me a STUPID CANADIAN and asked if I could hear OK ?
They used a harsh and nasty voice, Still refusing to refund my money. I intend to keep calling them until they refund my money.
I have nothing to show for th $67.00. I have contacted Mastercard and they will attempt to get my money back.

deceptive advertising unethical billing
A request for free photoshop to edit photos, my google explorer presented Photoshop.esOftware.com. Upon registering for "FREE" software I was informed that the "FREE" software' would cost me $19.95. I agreed to pay this even so, but when I finished registering I was informed that the cost on my visa would be $34.88.
This was too much. I tried cancel my purchase by emailing with the email address that was given and the email was incorrect and did not go through.
Surprise, surprise, I found others who were complaining about "Software HQ"s unethical business practices.
My credit card company said they would dispute the bill for me when it is paid Monday.

BEWARE THIS SCAM ARTIST COMPANY - I WAS TRYING TO DOWNLOAD ADOBE ACROBAT PRO, THIS SCAM COMPANY, SOFTWARE HQ CAME THAT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE I WAS DOWNLOADIND ACROBAT 9 BUT IT WAS NOT AN OFFICIAL ADOBE WEBSITE AND THEY ENDED UP CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD $70 FOR THE FREE TRIAL VERSION OF ADOBE ACROBAT 9 PLUS SOME OTHER USELESS SOFTWARD THAT THEY CHARGED ME FOR BUT I DIDN'T EVEN ORDER. I EMAILED THEM FOR A REFUND AND THEY BASICALLY TOLD ME THAT THEY DO NOT REFUND ANY MONEY. THIS IS A REAL SCAM AND REALLY LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE DOWNLOADING THE GENUINE SOFTWARE - THERE ARE MANY OTHER SIMILAR COMPLAINTS. I AM TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK BY DISPUTING IT WITH THE CC COMPANY AND I POSTING THIS COMPLAINT ON MANY OTHER COMPLAIN WEBSITES. I'VE NEVER BEEN SCAMMED IT'S A REALLY BAD FEELING AND THESE COWBOYS SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS SOMEHOW. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT CAN BE DONE TO BRING THESE CRIMINALS TO JUSTICE?

Unauthorized billing
I tried to download adobe reader and thought I was going to be charged $12.95 but instead they enrolled me in a 3 year service plan and charged me $70.00. I tried calling them and e-mailing them but I received no response. I tried to dispute the charge on my credit card but so far I have had no luck in getting the charges taken off.

Unauthorized billing
I was trying to download Adobe Reader and 'Software HQ' popped up. I signed on for a fee of 12.95 because I was having a problem. After I gave my credit card info it said the charge was $52.80. I will be notifying my credit card company. To top it off I still didn't get Adobe Reader.

dispute -false advertisement
I was working in Photoshop and it was asking me to install some software to be able to be able to download my pictures from my camera to my pc. When I clicked on the button to install this window for Software HQ popped up and I just assumed I was still working with Photoshop. It was offering the software for $12.65 per month for 3 months. After I finished with this window I tryed going back to Photoshop and still could not download my pictures. I tried going back to the website for Software HQ to get an e-mail or phone number for support but not available. This morning I called my bank and Software HQ charged my account $70.80. My bank said I would have to sign a dispute form so I can have the charged returned to Softward HQ.
