I don't know what this is. I didn't sign up for this but I got charged $70.80
I never signed up for this. I don't even know what this is. I only know that I got charged $70.80 on my credit card and I don't know what it is for.

SCAM - OVERCHARGE
I was advised to get Adobe downloaded free so I could allow PDF's to be accessed. Then, I was given a figure
that I should pay. I think it was $20. I never received an email bill to show the amount. On my Master
Card bill I have been charged with $70.80. I am hoping that there is someway this can be deleted from
my Master Card bill entirely. I think it is a fraud.

unwanted-unsolicited software
Took $135.00 out of my banking account without my expressed permission, or my knowledge. Cost me $75.00 in over draft fees. I dont know how this company got on to my computer site, or how they knew my card number. I never recieved software, nor am I aware of anything downloaded.

How does a company like this be allowed to, prey on an unsuspecting consumer who is on Social Security?

doesn't exist
Purchased this program that was suppose to be AVAST antivirus and it doesn't exist and can't be downloaded on my computer and called AVAST and e-mailed them and they don't have any record of it ever being purchased. Called them at the # above and they are suppose to call me back according to a recording that stated they would do so. I just want my money back, $70.80, don't appreciate being lied too. Thanks.

fraud
I thought I was getting an antivirus for my computer, but it declined my order and said it did not process it, so I tried again and I got the same response.
Later that day I found out software-hq.net charged me twice, once for $70.80 and again for $52.92 .
I could not get any one from their company to call me back and did not receive any type of service for my hard erned money.

Overcharged and did not get what paid for !!!
I was looking for AVG and was directed somehow to this company software-hq.net. I was told AVG for 1 year and was charged 52.80 and received a membership from their website instead. They will not give my money back and/or cancel membership. And you can only complain and request return on the first 7 days. But I did not knew I would have that problem because they gave FREE trial AVG for 30 days (that now does not work). They won't talk by the phone about and hung up on me saying that there is nothing they can do about. I was stolled!!!

billed for service not recieved
same as hundreds of others, scammed into buying a one year download and service membership for 12.99 and then charged for a three year at 70, 80. The phone number on my billing staement is for a third party billing outfit, when I asked for an e-mail listing of the services I bought I was told to "SHUT UP" and was hung up on. I called a US Senator from Florida and he gave me the following number to file a complaint and they will investigate... I hope. The number is 407 252 2573.

misleading ad, overcharged
Intended to download Adobe Acrobat v.9 which up to this point in my experience has been free. Was directed to the 'software-hq.net' site to do this, and was offered a $19 one time deal which I unfortunately accepted. The site froze up for about an hour - and finally downloaded the product.
I called my credit card company within minutes of doing this and was told that a charge had been made of $30. I complained to the 'software-hq' site and was told the extra charge was for 'support' of the product valid for one year. No mention was made of this additional charge on their website. I intend to pursue the matter with my credit card company and also alert Adobe if I can manage to do so. THIS IS A SCAM, and 'software-hq.net' should be BOYCOTTED.

Billed twice for the samething
Recently I selected a website that appeared to be the Avast Anti-virus Software site. It indicated that I could purchase the Home Editon with one-year support for just over $12. I selected this option, entered my credit card info correctly it popped up an answer saying transaction failed because of wrong card number enterd twice. When I check my account I did find that there were two of these transactions that went through that are just waiting for authorisation. asking them not to authorize this payment they said that I must get hold of the company that sold me the software to refund me. It is not possible so far
