Fraud
In June I was looking to download Adobe Reader 9..I went to what appeared to be the Adobe website...I made the order for what was going to cost about $15...instead I ended up with a system from Software-HQ that had nothing to do with Adobe-9 and a cost of $70 plus...I immediately deleted the program and called my bank to cancell the charge..I sent an email to Software HQ advising them of my action...My bank cancelled the credit card and re-issued a new one...In reviewing my bank statement I see this charge for $70.80 from Software-HQ.net phone #800 784-3167 so I called and asked them what this was about..they wanted my credit card # which i refused to give them (although I did give them the last 4 digits and my zip code)...the party I was talking to was female and rather bitter..when I would not give her the full credit # I was called an idiot and told the phone call was over and she hung up...Real class operation...This company is a fraud so be careful...I am asking for bank and the feds to look into this company..I'd rather give the $70 bucks to charity rather than these thieves..

refund/verbal abuse
This morning at about 9:20am (thursday) I called 1-800-784-3167 & got connected to the billing deppartment trying to explain my situation which was...I was trying to hook up my "Skype" onto my computer and somehow got charged this software where when I had skype before all I had to do was put $10.00 into my account. I never got charged any other types of fees like this charge of $34.92 Now, the lady that I was speaking with was sassy, she was speaking over me, and I'd mentioned to her that I was looking to see if I could get a refund & she was telling me that I had the wrong department so I asked her if she could direct me to the right department and in the same sassy, irritating tone of voice she says AS I SAID BEFORE YOU NEED TO GO ONLINE...ETC...I said look...can you be a little nicer cause you keep talking over me and she just kept with the same tone and speed so Finally I said with a loud tone (since that's the way she's speaking to me) "O K A Y" and then she said to me
"YOU FUCKIN' IDIOT"

FRAUD! SCAM!!
They claimed only a certain amount (very small amount) was going to be charged to my card after I found a link to purchase Photoshop CS4 Extended. After the payment processed the small amount magically turned into $55+. Heres whats even more messed up: They didnt even have CS4... So I call and a young girl answers. She said billing was closed for the day and no one was there. I call back 2 days later, and no answer. I let it go, and call back several days later. A young girl answers again. She was rude, interrupted, and bitchy. She said that I was a liar and they had CS4. (Check the site, Im not crazy) I am very polite on the phone, not once yelling, or being forceful. She said only $34 will be refunded in 10 business days because I called to late. So I guess Im just a lying blind person that obviously doesnt know how to take advantage of a great opportunity when I see one, oh silly me.

scam- sold non existent software and support
"eS0ftware.com " is really software-hq.net, and is a scam, offering software downloads and support for various products. They take your money, don't deliver, and best of all, try to give your machine a virus when you try to contact them. They look very professional, and claim that:
"Is my registration secure and confidential?
Absolutely! Our sites are tested and certified daily to pass the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test. The "live" HACKER SAFE mark appears only when a web site's security meets the highest security scanning standards of the U.S. government, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB."

Gross Overbilling and Invalid Product Download Links
While browsing the internet for Adobe Photoshop CS3 trial downloads prior to purchasing the actual product, I found Photoshop.esOftware.com. Photoshop.esOftware.com offered a number of trial products including Adobe Photoshop CS3. I selected the "DOWNLOAD" icon for the listed product of choice and a "Photoshop.esOftware.com" Personal Information/Membership page came up. Once the Personal Information was entered as requested, Photoshop.esOftware.com redirected me to Software-hq.net for the transaction process and the actual download.
Once the transaction process was finished at Software-hq.net, the initial 3 year offer totaling $12.65 per year had ballooned into a $70.80 transaction. I immediately attempted to contact Software-hq.net regarding the billing error but was placed in the inevitable automated attendant loop and was required to leave a voice message. This process repeats itself every time you call Software-hq.net.
I have contacted The National Association of Consumer Advocates and FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION regarding the fraudulent practices of Photoshop.esOftware.com and Software-hq.net
Please send your claim upstream as well. Together we can stop these internet predators at once.

Unauthorized charges
This company over charged my credit card by $32.85. When I called them to try to fix this matter the lady who answered the phone was very rude to me and didn't even give me two seconds to state my issue then flat out HUNG UP on me.
I called right back and this time they didn't even answer in person, just an automated message said to e-mail them, which I have read that they NEVER answer e-mails.
I called right back a third time and the automated machine said that they were closed and to call back during normal business hours which are 9:00am-5:00pm EST, this call was at 1:45pmEST, well within their normal hours.
This company is a total RIP-OFF!!! Help me!!!

Scam
I went online to download Skype. I typed Skype into my browswer and saw the website. I clicked on the site and it was represented as Skype. I was told that Skype was a free download but was given three options. I clicked on 1 year for $19.95 and figured that Skype must have started charging for their web based calls. When I received the confiramtion email, I realized that I subscribed to Software-HQ. Their website states that charges are NON-Refundable.
I am livid. I am going to write to the New York State AG and expose these scam artists. I used a Master Card debit card and will try to appeal.
