My brother's employee Nampak reduced his salary by 25% because he refused to be intimidated into applying for disabilty. They told him the funds would be used to pay the salary of his assisstant whilst he was on restricted duties - we found out that you cannot use disblity funds in this manner and he refused to sign. His employer then reduced his salary by 25%. We apponted a private lawyer to investigate and they have been ignored by Nampak. We then wrote to the Union Solidarity in Bellville and they too have ignored as have the Department of Labour. Solidarity is worth nothing more than the paper on which their name is written and they ceratily DO NOT represent theit members. They should be banned!!
