unauthorized monthly purchase
I was charged $20 for 4 texts received from SoLow without asking or contacting this company. When I received my bill I noticed that it was higher than usual and on the statement showed that there is $20 charge from a third party operator. I am with Rogers and when I called them they just didn't want to do anything and the operator told me to deal with SoLow. Left a few voice mails to them but still waiting for the call. Need some help how to stop this scam and get my money back. Already text "stop" to them and hope that will not receive any more charges. This company SoLow has to be banned from operating!!!

Fraudulent Text Message Charges
A few weeks ago, I accidently requested a URL called http://netflicks.ca/activate instead of http://netflix.ca/activate. I was routed to a site that said that I was selected for a survey. There was no way to exit this site without completing the survey and providing a cell number and PIN. The site was set up to look like a Netflix site and purported to be a Movie survey. I thought it was from Netflix. It was obviously a spoof of a Netflix site. Almost immediately, I received a text message from solow.com. I didn't make the connection with the survey until later. The site that I was routed to was http://my-movie-survey.com/?sov=126644. It is still there lurking for unsuspecting Netflix customers. When my phone bill arrived, I called the number that was suggested on the bill 1-877-402-2387. It provided me with another number to call 1-877-402-3687. If you Google this number, you will find that it is connected with fraudulent phone charges as well. See http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-402-2387. I see that people are having problems with the other number by Googling it at http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-877-402-3687. I fully expect fraudulent charges from these numbers as well. I called my service provider to complain. They said that I will likely get a refund. We will see.

unauthorized verizone charges
These are two different companies - solow.com and sendmemobile.com.
Both companies have charged my verizone account for services i did not authorize. They put the charges on my 12 year old sons number.
He certainly is not old enough to authorize or be aware of the charges.

Misleading charges
These people are frauds, they charged me $9.99 for a stupid IQ test that I could'nt get to go off of my computer screen, claiming it was a survey by their advertisers. I was trying to get to a movie site. The next day my phone bill was 10 dollars higher. Beware of IQ tests.
