Improper behavior
This bitch had the nerve to get my drink wrong ! One, I takes 30 minutes for 2 drinks and some cheese sticks. So, they walk out to the car. Te girl says "rasberry" I said "No ma'am it's supposed to be strawberry.
"oh it is..."
I take it, then I read the ticket. It says RASBERRY ! I was mad. I asked her to fix it . Takes 10 mintutes to fix one drink! Then I get it... AND NO FREAKIN' ICE ! I'm mad! I want to cuss at them. Please fix it .

OUTDOOR TABLES
THE OUTDOOR FURNITURE REALLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. WILLIAMSBURG IS A HIGH MAINTENANCE AREA AND THE TABLES ARE FALLING APART. AND I MEAN FALLING APART.

management
a 19 year old little girl has made manager and she is very very rude to staff. she has no people skills what so ever. there have been several customers leave because of her attitude.one custermer even come in the store and complained to her because she was rude to her causeshe changed her or for her 4 year old son. she is constantly making smart ass remarks behind peoples backs and when confronted about it she will lie and even swear on the life of her daughter that she said or did it and everyone knows shes lieing. her name is treceena noe. the only reason she was made manager was due to theexcessive ass kissing she done to the general manager francie hernandez. while francie hernandez is there she follows her around like a lost puppy. the general manager francie hernandez is also very rude, everyone there is new and she expects everyone to know everything and we are trying very very hard. we wer also short 2 days on our check. francie hernandez said that the 2 days was put on the last pay check. bullshit were not stupid. that money has went in someones pocket and i think it might be hers.

Unfair treatment/firing of employee
I had been working for Sonic during my high school career, so when I took a year off after school, I naturally applied there. I had only been accustomed to working carhop duties, but they put me on fountain right off the bat, saying that being a carhop was "earned, " like it was being a manager, or something. I struggled to keep up, considering they sort of made me do almost everything and hardly anyone helped me with making drinks, ice cream treats, etc. Also, whenever I asked a question about how I was supposed to do something, I got snarky remarks from the lower management. At one point, a girl working as an assistant manager told me to go home because I was annoying her with my questions. I only asked them because I wanted to do THE BEST I could at my job. The rest of the carhops and fountains were totally rude to me, talked amongst themselves, and texted a lot while on duty. Coming from working full-time and at professional establishments, this was TOTALLY unprofessional. I got fired because I, and I quote, "was impossible to work with and acted unprofessional." Not once had the management disciplined me for any purpose, or for that matter even spoke to me in regards to any issues they might have with my work ethic. I visited the establishment recently, and the same people were working there. I am now a manager for a retail store and going to college while all if not most of the employees that work there still will still be working there for the next 10 years.

Poor treatment of employees
i work at the sonic drive in oak ridge, tn. i am totally amazed that the restaurant even makes money the way people act there. the head manager is always flirting with underage employees which he hires too many of just so he can have some eye candy at work. multiple employees use drugs. one of the carhops is on heroin, a cook is a pillhead and steals boxes of food and items from other employees, and others come to work drunk or intoxicated on various controlled substances almost a daily basis. one assistant manager got her promotion by sleeping with the head manager, and strangely gets paid more then the other managers even though she can do less and only works weekends. the store is only cleaned up when we know that a health inspector or the head manager are coming in. if they came by right now, the store would be shut down. the flirtatious head manager is not only a total perv, but he is a cheapskate as well. we totally ignore hold times (a hold time being the amount of time food can sit out before we are supposed to throw it away) for anything we sell, so everything you order is probably been sitting out all day long. i guess to put this cheapness into perspective, the man is so cheap he won't allow us to include forks with small orders. only the large orders get forks. the pricing was also a bit screwy (and was unknown to the customers), but there were certain items that you were charged more for a small order than you were for a large order. although, i believe my biggest complaint started today. from what i have been told, it is illegal to change employee schedules with out notifying the employee of the change. i was supposed to be at work today. although i was unaware of this fact, seeing as no one told me about it. i woke up to one voicemail saying that he changed the schedule and another 40 minutes later telling me i was a "no call no show". so, im pretty sure im about to lose my job for not showing up on a day i wasn't told i was supposed to be there. im also pretty sure that im going to be calling my lawyer soon as well. something needs to change, and it needs to change immediately. i have been reading other customer's complaints and such, and it seems that these problems are infecting the sonic corporation as a whole. they do a halfway decent way of managing the company itself, but the individual "partnership" restaurants are not even almost held within the same standards. just because a restaurant is franchised does not mean it should not operate differently then the corporation itself. so, join with me America. stand up and fight. they say the customer is always right, but don't do a thing to change it. we can not sit idly by and let these people defecate on the products we love, and just expect us to deal with it. fight back! its the only thing we can do, seeing as we have that beautiful freedom. im going to do my part to make sonic think about how much their customers and employees actually do matter. but, we have to wake them up. we have to let them know that these behaviors and actions are not right (or safe) for the customers and the poor souls that have to work for them. just remember America, they want your money. its how they survive and operate. but, it IS your money, and you get a say in the services rendered for your hard earned cash. so demand change! its ultimately up to you, the customer, to tell them what you do and don't want. always expect better things, and refuse to pay for less.

unfair treatment
I work at the sonic location on brodway and vassar store number 4461, and the subject of my complaint is anything but simple or short. In Augest of 2010 i was offered to opt- out of a total pay card option by submiting a void check to activate a direct deposite payroll. I accepted to submit a check as to recieve my checks electronically, and directly to my checking account. In late Augest i gave my general mannager (Scott S.) a form listing all of the information needed to complete the direct deposit process, given to me by my banker. He then told me that the district mannager (Bob) would handle it. I already knew by then that it was not the district mannagers responsibility to preform this task, and inaddition that the process only takes a few minutes. I know this because i have enrolled for direct deposit before through a different employer.
After a month of waiting i addressed my genneral mannager Scott, in question of the length of time i have had to deposite paper checks. His response was, "I don't know why Bob has not done it yet, but i will do it my self." Thinking he would stay true to his word i waited an additional two weeks approx. By this time the 12th of oct. all of the sonic employees must recieve payroll through a money network card. (beside this card overcharging and double chargeing me for some transactions). I asked spcifically to be paid by direct deposit. Now it is the 30th of october and every week i have asked for additional hours, why my payroll is not being deposited, and while i have open availablity throughout the week. Reguardless of my open avalability he refuses to put me on the schedule. The catch to this is I am a recently new father and he knows this, and my younger sister who is still in highschool, works at this same sonic almost everyday of the week. Givin the circumstances of our verbal agreement he should have already completed the direct deposit process, months ago. I am begining to believe he has alternative motives, like harrasment, to his lack of scheduleing myself.
The recent harrasment includes gocking at the young female employees, refering to a male mannager (mike) as a (Bitch), even in a joking manner this statment is extreamly offensive! I have been diatribed for actions I did not commit for example, earlier this month I witnessed a new employee micheal open a wackypack toy and he along with some females employees were playing with it, squirting water at oneanother. Before asking anyone else about the toy, Scott proceded to swear and scold me for opening the toy, even though i had nothing to do with the situation. The last statement i have in these reguards involves statements about my younger sister and her envolment with a costomer, made by Scott. The costomer was a young male who according to Scott was a stoner and stupid, and someone who has left his phone in the restroom a couple of times. After an employee stated that the costomer was friends with my sister, I over heard Scott say something under his breath about her being a little something or other... I then spoke up and asked him "what was that?" and he said in a mocking low tone, "oh! watch out big brother is here".
Any of the things I said previously, more than reasonably, are actions to be fired for in my opinion. An employer should work with my shedule at least as much as one can, but i recieve 7 hours a week, on a day i would prefer to have open, to allow myself to work on homework, because i am a full time student in college.

I am currently employed at one of the two Sonic Drive In stores in Florence, Alabama. For the past two weeks, our system has been having trouble. The Boom Foods HelpDesk told us they could fix it, and ended up making us take orders by hand for two or three days, and on the fourth day it messed up again. On the forth day, the Boom Foods HelpDesk told us it would take 15 minutes, so that's what we told customers. After 45 minutes, customers were getting agitated. HelpDesk told us to restart the POV and we'd be fine, and the guy hung up. Well, it didn't fix anything, and he ignored our calls for the rest of the night. A manager ended up getting it to work by messing with it for a while.

On top of this, and why I'm posting all of this, today is payday. They aren't giving us our checks. They're in the process of switching to paycards instead of checks. Boom Foods LLC has made it so difficult to effectively run Sonic. We're losing business, customers aren't coming back, workers aren't coming back. I am so disappointed as a Sonic employee I'm considering quitting myself.

services
Tonight I went to this sonic in my home town and I was the only car there and I put my order in and after I did some more cars arrived. While I was waited the car hop brought the food to the car next to me and than she took food to the second car. They were slow and the shakes were malts and that is NOT what I order. The shake had malt powder in them and the shake/malts were nasty. The 2 other cars that arrived after I was there didnt have a call in order cause I watched them and they order from the box, and they got there food before I did. Thats not right.

Manager
My boyfriend works at Sonic as a carhop. His main manager and owner said that I'm not aloud to go to that Sonic and sit there and eat my food anymore. Is that right?
