I recieved a phone call today from a very heavy Indian sounding accent saying I had a cash advance loan I had defaulted on and now was going to be arrested in the morning and charged with theft and fraud. I asked to be explained to what the charges were and what the original debt was and he said he could not tell me that information and passed me along to his supervisor. Again, the same run around except they did have all of my personal information. after placing me on hold and saying he was speaking to the sherrifs office he informed me I could pay 1/3 of the total amount to put a hold on legal actions. When I asked where to send the money to I was informed to call back in the am and they would give me the address. I am not going to pay this and risk going to jail as I think it is a case of fraud.
