Hanging of handset
I had purchased handset of sony ericsson on 21-08-2008 and there is a rules of company that after the date of purchase they give 1week time limit if with in this period there is any problem they are going to do the replacement but after purchasing of handset immediately i went out of station so it was not possible for me come again after 1day again so i came after 3to4days back and gone to authorized service center but now they are saying that u have cross the limit of working of mobile and on the other side company says that there is no hard and fast rule the main point is that the handset must b with in a week and i had sent the e-mail to the company but they are going to take action after 2days of working and this is my 3rdhandset i am having problem now what should i do there is no way for me after u. I am from gujarat vapi and the name of service center in vapi is computer care and my contact no. 09898439262 please do take some action against them...

Blank display of Sony Ericsson mobile k220i
I was purchased the above cited mobile on 22/12/2007 at M/s. Univercell Moble Store, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. But 15 days before the display is automatically off. For that reason, I handover the cell phone due to warranty period at your authorized service center i.e M/s. J S Mobiles, Dilsukhngar, Hyderabad on 11-8-2008 vide receipt no. 1931. But so far there is no fruitful response and telling that it will be replaced for 3 days. Now, it has already been 12 days passed, they are not providing proper customer service. It is harassment to the consumer.

No response form Sony service center
I took a Sony w200i phone. After 3 weeks it stopped working, completely dead. Thanks to amazing Sony quality. Then I gave my phone to Sony service center. They took 4 days to say that mother board needs to be changed and they will take 15 working days to replace.
I lodged a complaint about this to Sony Service center as why should I suffer for a manufacturing defect of Sony and they should replace it as fast as possible on 4 th august 2008. The complaint number is SE6119232. Today is 13 th august 2008 and still the service center people say that they need 48 more working hours to respond to my complaint.
Another example of the mazing Sony experience. Please avoid all Sony products they are the worst company in terms of product and service experience which I have got till now.

s/ericsson w58oi mobile
i bought the sony ericsson w580 0n the 15/05/2008 and has been plauged with problems since day one, the keys are cracked, the phone freezes when it wants to, the battery has to be removed and replaced everytime i want to charge it, and now the memory card hs to be taken out reqular so i can c my pic etc/ ive tried bt failed to get a contact for s/ericsson bt been unable to get a single reply, and my o2 shop were i purchased it will repair again bt will take up to 4wks to repair which is totaly unexceptable to me as i work from home, srange conciderin im a great customer ov theres, im sat now with a phone which ive never have used and carnt do anything with im so disapointed in both companys for there utter disregard to there customers if anybody knows how to contact s/ericsson pls let me know thanx g irlam

Phone stopped working in 6 months
I bought a Sony Ericsson W580i for some INR 12800 and in just 6 months it stopped working. The screen display was gone without any mishandling and it's been 20 days I am waiting for my phone to come back from the service center. Every time, I get to hear that in next 48 hours some one will give me a call and update me about my phone status. No one till date contacted me or has answered my query.
NEVER BUY SONY ERICSSON, ITS AFTER SALES SERVICE IS HORRIFYING.

warranty not accepting
I purchased W710i cell in September 2007. I have taken at Univercell, west of cord road, Bangalore. And now I am facing few problems. So I went to Sony Authorized Service Center which is at Malleswaram 1st cross, near ICICI atm, Bangalore. The mobile problems are like, low battery back up and some time unable to attend incoming calls, cant hear the incoming call ring tone when radio is on with loudspeaker and main thing is the outer rubber cover has come out.
When service person saw the problems they said that liquid has gone inside so no more warranty for other things. They refused to change cover and to fix other problems. And I think while giving my cell back they exchanged the battery. Now suddenly the battery back up is too less.
I want to know how that liquid problem includes other thing out of warranty period.
Please clear this issue soon. Y I should pay money again where defect is there in product. Whether those people are grabbing money or you people i dont know.
Hope I will get proper response from you soon.

Customer service
Hi, i have given a Sony Ericsson K550i for service in Venus telelinks in Marathalli Main rd,Blore.There was 2 issues in my 5 month old cell..one was heating and other was a big crack in the display without the cell ever been dropped. I gave it for service 2 weeks back and have not it back yet..when i call them up they say they dont have a stock of the display yet and keep asking for more...What i dont understand is a company like SONY have such a sad and unprofessional approach to service within warranty period...Best part is he has not provided a spare cellphone to use in the meanwhile claims that Sony does not provide a spare...I think this is the last cellphone i would purchase from SE...

Charger Dead
I have purchased a sony W-830i phone on 7th July'2007. This was my first sony phone, previously I was a loyal customer of Nokia. But the customer service that Nokia people gave me on having a fault with the phone made me go for another brand.
My sony ericsson phone model W830i was purchased from Neeru Enterprise, Noida (Invoice No. NE/07-08/0859). Two days back my mobile phone charger went dead. So I went to the service center "Neeru Enterprises" for getting it repaired/replaced today i.e 10th Feb 2008.
The lady on the counter saw the charger and said that I have to give the charger and they would be giving me a replacement within a months time. I asked her for a replacement charger so that I can charge my phone during the time they take to replace it. She denied it. I argued with her saying that how am I going to charge the phone. She said that she can do nothing about it.
Talking to the Manager "Surender Kr. Sharma" was also not of any help as he said that they are out of stock for CST-75 charger and that I should either go to the head office or try any other service centers. Upon saying that he is asking the customer to go and look out for the availability of the charger elsewhere rather than providing that service himself. He suggested that I should talk to the Company Sony Ericsson directly as he himself is unable to help.
Upon request with the sales guys, I was finally given a replacement charger.
Few questions to the very helpul Sony Ericsson Customer Service.
1. Why does replacement of a charger take a month(it should be done in matter of minutes)?How is sony ericsson expecting the customer to charge the phone while waiting for the replacement of the charger. The new charger costs around 600 Rs. Am I expected to buy a new charger to charge the phone while sony ericsson is taking its own sweet time to replace it?
2. Does sony wants people to purchase only low end phones, cause these chargers are easily avilable with the service center?Whereas chargers like CST-75 are out of stock (and I heard the manager saying that there are people waiting for it for more than 2 months). spent 16K on sony ericsson.. was it a mistake?
3. Why should the customer run around to the head office or to the other service center? Isn't it possible that the service center co-ordinates between themselves so that the customer is not given a run-around?
4. The manager says that I should contact the company. Isn't he the one representing the company? He should be made aware that he is the face of the company.

Software update kills phone!
My Sony Ericsson W900i was working fine until I went and used Sony Ericsson's Update Service. Immediately after the update, which went through without a hitch, the phone function went dead. Tried a number of times using 4 different computers and the phone function remained dead. Checked with Sony Ericsson's hotline and was asked if I have read the disclaimer. Checked with the service center and was told I have to pay just for them to determine if it was their software giving problems. Wrote emails and received no helpful replies. Finally gave it up and got a Nokia N95 8G instead.
Warning to all Sony Ericsson cellphone users - use Sony Ericsson's update service at your own risk. Also, a new Sony Ericsson phone I got for my daughter (before my w900i problem came about) could not save appointments from day one. Did not bother to get it fixed since it will require going to the service center, queue up for over one hour, leave the phone with them for a few days, then queue another one hour when collecting. Too much hassle facing unfriendly customer service staff.
