Handset not repaired
Hi
I purchased Sony Ericsson U10i Aino IMEI:356815030902929 on 26-Feb-2010.
It used to hang frequently so I had to update it so as to get rid of the problem. Also, whenever I slided back my phone, the display vanished and it took 3-4 seconds to display the screen. Also, the flash was not working. I couldn't get to know from when this flash problem started because I had set its setting to automatic . It had Bluetooth headset which was to be charged individually and using it uses a lot of handset battery.
Finally I made a complaint Work-order Number:SE311PMS10037 on Jan 11 2011 at Premalika Marketing services, Opposite Dukhiniwaran Gurdwara Sirhind road Patiala Punjab.
I told them the problems and in symptom code they mentioned "display flickers"only. It has been 56 days, I have been calling them after 4-5 days and visited them 3 times but the reply I get :"Sorry, We could not do anything as that part is not available".One of the staff-members told me not to disturb them by calling again and again.They have asked me to take the handset back or to file a complaint in consumer court as they are helpless". I asked them if the part is not available kindly change the handset but they had no reply. I called up Mr.Arpal Singh (The head of Punjab Region) but he also gave me the same excuse. Also, I called up customer care numbers but all in vain.
Kindly help me as I am a student I cannot afford to miss my lectures for visiting service center and consumer court.

worst service centre i have ever seen
well am DILIP KUMAR NEELI (PRO, RGCC.Greece),
For a vacation i came back to india for 4 months.
3 months back (day before DIWALI)i bought a new mobile SONY VIVAZ PRO U5i ..
it took few days to get used to the mobile, after a week i faced a problem not able to upload the applications in my mobile, not even to upload a single video from my PC..
due to the busy schedule which i have, am not able to complaint regarding the handset..on jan30 i faced the problem where my mobile is not charging when i plug in, mobile battery back was lost...i approached the sony service center in VISAKHAPATNAM (bright solutions) where i gave my mobile to them on jan31 for servicing...they replied me tht the mobile ll get repaired in 15 days saying tht it had a mother board problem which the mobile to be sent to chennai...i called the service center of chennai on feb 4th for following up...then my complaint was registered saying that unless untill we call them the complaint cant be registered, they asked to call again within 48 hrs, i called on the third day i.e.on monday for following up, again they replied the same version to make a call after 2 days...on wednesday again i rang up which they asked me to call on next wednesday where they r going to gimme the details regarding the handset to be serviced or to dispatch a new handset...the executive replies of lacking of stock in their service center..."THIS IS SO WEIRD THAT A SERVICE CENTER IS NOT ABLE TO MAINTAIN THEIR STOCK"...WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS PROVIDED...WHAT KIND OF SERVICE CENTER IS THIS...THIS IS HOW THE SONY ERICSSON IS WORKING...DONT DECIEVE THE CUSTOMERS...WORK ORDER No:SE311BS110571 & COMPLAINT No:89576750 & 89615117

worst kind of service
i had submitted my phone for servicing last month and have not yet recieved it.. its a month and there's no news about my phone at all.. nobody at the service centre responds properly also.. this is highly irritating..

Promises that come to null just to keep you quite
I logged a complaint on this site a month ago and got a response almost immediately. I was promised that my faulty NEW phone (R8000) will be picked up and sent to Sony for repairs. I have all the email communication in this regard. Well I am disgusted that I have to chase up with these people on when they will collect. To date they have not collected my phone. This is all promises and no action. I am disgusted that Sony being a company as it is does not deliver!

Service Center and Call Center not responding
I have Sony Ericsson Vivaz (U5i) and faced some display Problem, hence I gave it to your Authorized Service Center (Phone Zone, Chennai) on 15th November, 2010. Still I didn’t get the phone back. Whenever I call the service Center (Phone Zone) they are saying that parts are not shipped and not giving the proper delivery date. Hence I called the Sony Ericsson Call Center at 39011111. I spoke to 4 different guys including couple of escalation representative, I didn’t get any proper response they simply saying call us after 4 days on each phone call made every 4 days. Not sure whether these guys are dragging my warranty period or what????

REPLACEMENT OF HANDSET

During my visit to Bangalore on 9/10/10, i bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mobile in spite of my friend’s advice to buy a Nokia. To my surprise after using the phone for few minutes the phone began restarting and the same problem continued to happen so. Then i immediately reported to customer care. As per their advise i contacted the local service centre at Calicut, Kerala. They did not accept the phone saying that there is problem with software and hardware. Then i had to take the phone to Bangalore where i purchased. They asked me to come back after 2days so that they could replace the phone with a new one. Then i returned back to my home at Kerala which is around 500 kms away. After two days i went back to Bangalore in hope that i would get the mobile replaced. But to my surprise they told me to leave back the phone at service centre telling that they would send me a new one by the coming friday. So far they haven’t responded properly and no action taken.
Having paid such a huge amount for the mobile, i got this much harassment from SONY ERICSSON such a reputed company. Now i want immediate replacement of the phone with Rs.4000 which i paid for travelling to Bangalore and back twice. Failing which i will be forced to go to Consumer Court explaining my grievances and call a press conference to explain the media about my grievance.
Hoping that you will take immediate action to avoid further embarrassment.
