Service and customer care is a joke
Bought my son a C902 and it has not worked since day one. Does not receive incoming calls. Went onto Hellopeter to complain and Yolanda contacted me. She told us to take the phone to Midrand where she organised someone to fix it - that is the problem of calls not being received and two faulty keys - the phone was 2 months old at this stage. Drove their, at our cost and time, to Midrand. No appointment had been made and they complained to my son about going there. He sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to even help him. They took the phone and updated the software and told him it is fixed. I complained to Jessica Palmer directly and she told me someone would contact me - no one has. The phone still does not work - does not receive incoming calls - does not show missed calls etc. We got the phone so that we could stay in contact with our son but we cannot ever get hold of him thanks to the Sony Ericsson C902. This is the worst after care service I have ever had. Don't buy Sony Ericsson cause they really don't care once they have sold you their product which they don't know how to fix and don't care.

Till date I haven't received a satisfactory answer and my money and handset is with them
I purchased a Sony Ericsson G900 from HOtspot on 1st May 2010. The handset was found defective on the very first day, I should say the time I broked the seal standing at the outlet the handset 2 keys was not working. Since that day till date my handset is lying in the serive center and the company is not ready to replace the handset, they said they would repair it. Also there is no information as when the part would arrive. I tried calling up there service center and behaviour of the executives was very rude, no updates was provided.
My Handset is lying under work order Number- SE310rjk12657. This is the lastest work order number when the handset was deposited to there main head office in Okhla.
I have also registered a complaint for this at there customer care under Complaint# 87378287.
I had a word with there excalation department i.e. option 4 where they just said that you need to wait for another 21 days from now and till then we can't tell you any thing and YOU CAN DO ANY THING YOU WANT. The person who said this was Mr. Deepak & Vikram from customer care i.e. 39011111
Till date I haven't received a satisfactory answer and my money and handset is with them.

It was 6th time in an year when my phone was not working properly
I handed over my handset to sony ericsson service center on 28th march 2009. It was 6th time in an year when my phone was not working properly. Its Display was not working. I was told that I will be getting my handset back with in 15 working days. But, I have been contacting them from last 96 days and have not got my phone back. Each time when I call them, they use to tell me to call me on tuesdays and saturdays. When I complained to their delhi center, the response I got, is similar.

It was at least 7th time in a year that my handset was not working properly
I surrendered my handset to Salora Solutions(sony care), Amritsar on 28 march 2009 because its display was not working.They told me to wait for 15 days to get my handset replaced. It was at least 7th time in a year that my handset was not working properly. I am following them from last 86 days, they have been keep on telling me to call on tuesday and saturday to get status of complaint for my handset. But i have not got my handset back till the date.

I am extremely amazed at the attitude of the authorized centers employees who have absolutely no courtesy and manners
This is regarding a complaint against the Sony ericsson W580i which I purchased on the 9th of December07. During the first 6 months of purchase, this phone went to the service center atleast 3-4 times. Despite all this, the phone konked off all of a sudden around 2 months back again. I gave it to the service center to check about the fault and they said that there is some problem with a circuit due to which a wire has to be changed and then it would start working fine - this would cost me Rs. 1400. I didnt want to spend that kind of money at that time so I decided to take the phone back and give it after sometime. I went ahead and started using some other phone and gave the phone for repair again a week back. This time they said that there is an LCD default and now it would cost me 3k to get the phone repaired.
I am extremely amazed at the attitude of the authorized centers employees who have absolutely no courtesy and manners to speak to their customers and speak to you as if you are using a cellphone for the first time in your life...I must say that this kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and I dont expect this from Sony who claim excellent after sales service...I need a solution to this problem because I am no longer going to speak to the service center people. I need a solution to this in writing now...

I bought this handset in May and it stopped working in August
I bought this handset in May and it stopped working in August08. I have given it to the service center for repair 4 times. They have not been able to repair it. So, I wrote to their customer care center and kept writing to them for 1.5 months, without any substantial response from them.
Finally, I got in touch with their North India head, and every time I call him he tells me that someone from his organization will call me to reslove the problem, but no body calls back.
And the worst thing is that for the last 5 months my phone is lying with them without repair.

My problem is that instead of buying it with bill under warranty they are still asking for Rs.900
I had used this phone for a week only and suddenly it showed a message of insert sim.I took it to mobile service centre of Sony Ericsson and they told that its IC is damaged and for that they asked Rs.900.My problem is that instead of buying it with bill under warranty they are still asking for Rs.900. please help me on this issue.

In the service center they were in no mood to take up this case since they know that it is manufacturing fault and they didn't take my mobile
I have bought a new sony ericsson 850i mobile on 15 Dec 2006 for Rs.22, 000 at a Sony Show room. I am not able to Filter the contacts in the mobile and also some miscallaneous text is displaying instead of the names save at contacts. I approached the Main sony service centre and they told we need to upgrade the software.I told them ok and they upgraded.After upgrading also it is not working so they it will be replaced by the Sony show room by 26th Dec 2006 and i said ok. I received a new mobile on 26 Dec 2006.On receiving it i asked at sony showroom itself to check the mobile and they founded that same problem persisted with the new mobile also.They asked me to contact the service center.They also told that 3 to 4 complaints have already came in the same model.Then i approached the service center and informed about it.They told that there was some problem in a particular lot and all the phones are facing same problem and we cant do nothing.i called upon customer service and they told to hand over the mobile to service center.But in the service center they were in no mood to take up this case since they know that it is manufacturing fault and they didnt take my mobile.It was very frustrating for me since it was only around 10 days that i have bought the new mobile and i have to leave all my work to get back my mobile.

Handset Problem
I bought sony ericssons handset W395 from Dombivali (E) Jai Ambe Authorised Shop in October 2009.whose IMEI number is 356336031518283. After getting this phone i found that sonyericsson is giving the worst quality products to the customers. i have given more than 5 to 6 times to Dombivali (E) near Sarvesh hall, service center to make it working perfect condition .The Problem was, while playing MP3 song it stuck in between & suddenly loud sound is used to come & it used to not stop & suddenly the phone becomes blank or hanged & mobile display becomes off we can’t operate that time., Also while operating casualy suddenly the phone becomes blank, it becomes dead we can’t operate it, Its camera is also not clear, While talking phone becomes disconnected, And now new problem started, now Bluetooth is working & net is also not working. Every time they just update the software and give it to me .But the phone got hanged every time or some new new problems coming in my phone .On last week 4/7/10 I had given my mobile to Dombivali (E) Service Center for Bluetooth problem and I told them every time problem is coming what to do . They told me we had done software many times & we have already changed MotherBoard earler they had given me new & work order No is. se310me111231. And they had returned me my phone on 6or7/7/10, but still Bluetooth problem was there . So on 10/7/10 again I had given my phone to servce center. They told now they will change Mother Board, After that you will be facing no problem, that means they were telling lies that they had already changed Mother Board earlier. So now my phone is with them I am getting fade up of the products of sony ericsson and now requesting to sony please replace my product or do something else which can make it phone better. Or otherwise I have to take action or I have to give complaint article on newspaper .
PLEASE do needful...
