Hi,
I purchased a mobile phone (model: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i, White) in October 2010. I was content with the product until I found a detect in the mechanism of the device. When I start GPS, the machine restarts itself. I awaited a while supposing that the problem would be fixed should Android 2.1 was to installed and so did I; however, there was no solution. Therefore, I drew up a detailed letter of complaint on 30.12.2010 and sent it to the Asya Telekom in Ankara Branch, together with the phone. They sent me back on 21.01.2011, but when I tried to make the same operation; it began to restart over and over again, so I sent it back to Asya Telekom again. So far, I have not been informed thoroughly about the process and they have not give me sufficient information concerning what they did to the device for all 30 working days. Unfortunately, Turkish representatives of your company have not contributed enough to this problem when I phoned a couple of times and I felt I was neglected completely. In Turkey, technical service legally expires in 30 working days. However they did not fix the problem, plus the process is still continuing for the time being.
Due to the profession I perform, I must use GPS frequently. However, all these treatments I have been facing for too long made me ponder out a lot that the technical service of a distinguished company not only could fix the problem but also did not control what they did (or not!) for 30 days just before sending it back to me. Unfortunately, I would like to state that it should be a pity for them on behalf of prosperity your company. Once and for all, I paid an amount of 1500 TRY so as to purchase this product at that time. In Turkey, this amount equals to 2 months’ earnings for many people as well as me; therefore, I had financially had a difficulty while buying it, supposing that product would yield the best of it. I hope that you shall make your supervisions frequent in all departments in other countries, including Turkey and will not aggrieve your ultimate users.

Phone not working, still under warranty
Hi-

Can you please look into my request on urgent basis

I purchased a new Sony Zylo phone on 2nd sep 2010 but after a couple of weeks, some problems occurred in slider (all the buttons stop working when slider is open) and also with screen display

I enquired various Sony Authorized service centers ( in Gurgaon and Dehradun) and I was told that there is some problem with slide cable which is a manufacturing defect and that part is not available and no near by date was given for availability of the same

I purchased Sony phone for the first time and the experienced I had so far with product and service is truly pathetic and unacceptable

I request you to kindly make necessary arrangements for replacement of my phone

I have already sent mail to ([email protected]) couple of times but no response so far

Pathetic Customer Service
I have purchased a Sony Erricson Vivaz in March, a few weeks after it was launched. Two weeks back it just went off on its own and the touch screen functions were coming on and off automatically.

I took it to the Service Centre in Lajpat Nagar and they said they needed to keep the handset and send it to the factory. I was told it would take 3-5 working days to get repaired. It has now been 2 weeks and there is no sign of the handset being returned to me. The customer service centre has absolutely pathetic service. they put thye phone off hook for hours at end so that the customers can't get through and when I finally got through I was told they were still awaiting a spare part and had no idea when it would be found.

I am very sorry to say I deeply regret buying a Sony Erricson and am going to tell everyone I know to stay away from this company.

Pathetic after sales and Incapable Techs
Hi Guys!

This is the only thing that I could have done, to vent my frustration all because of the great experience that I was put through by Sony Erricson service centre, Jayanagar 4th block, Bangalore.

I purchased this k850i from Univercell, Madiwala in the month of Aug 08, so as usaul it had a manufacturer warranty of one year on it. The phone was working absoulutely till the month of July this year. I decided to check if the phone was really capable of reading a microSD card, as boasted by them. So I bought a brand new microSD and took off the good old M2. The phone just froze up on me completely and wouldnt budge. As anyone would have guessed it, I just turned the phone off, by taking off the battery. Well that was the last time anything at all on the screen. When I tried to bring her on the next time, the keypad will light up, the camera ring will light up but nothing at all on the screen. I tried, tried and tried but nothing worked. So I knew that a visit to the service centre was inevitable, this is one of the things that I have always hated visiting service centres for warranty repairs.

So next morning, I went to the Sony Erricson, Service Centre, Jayanagar. The lady at the reception and took the phone inside and came back with an open panelm and told me something that I really didnt understand. All I grasped was she telling me that there is a fungal growth on the motherbaord, because of water spillage. Now we all know that there was no spillage whatsoever on the phone. The Phone was in a mint condition, so I asked her to prove the same to me, she showed me some discoluration near the screen that she claimed was the fungal growth, this phone has three touch screen buttons that work on touch, so sum of sweat is bound to seep through the gap between the screen and the phone body. I explained to them, but who was there to listen. She said that warranty repair was not an option for me as liquid spillage ( which never occured) had voided my warranty and I will have to go for a paid service.

Since I knew, it was just a problem with the phone's firmware I asked them to flash the firmware. They charged me 150/- for the same. Asked me to collect the phone after an hour. I did that. Well!!! This is funny! They told me in a very serious tone " Sir! your phone is not taking the firmware update and she is not responding to any of out tool" for a second or two I thought that they are talking about one of my living relatives. Back to the reality, they said that its a hardware problem with the board and they will have to get the screen replaced for the phone I really didnt understand this explanation at all I swear to god. I decided to leave these morons on their coning games that they do with god knows how many poor chaps day in and day out and made a move out of there.

My phones warranty went on the 30 Aud. And I knew that I will have to handout some bills out of my pocket if I were to get my phone repaired. I started doing some research about the SE K850i Firmware. There I realized this BLUE RING OF DEATH was a known issue with the k850i and lot of people are facing the same issue with this handset. I figured that DaVinci team, can flash the phones firmware online using their client, that would have costed me some 10 credits = 10 euros. I was game for the same as I wanted my phone fixed. Then I decided to take my phone a local shop, where the tech flashed the phone in an hour and charged me only a lowely 200 bucks that all. No replacements at all.

I hate to call myself a loyal sony customer. I have been one for nearly 5 years and this is what I get?
Guys! there has to be some way to get this thing escalated to the customer experince team of Sony, god knows If there is one!

Charging Port
I Have purchased my W760i model in march, 2009. Till then i have faced 4 time charging port problem. Every time it unable to charge cell. When i went noida service center they ask 550 bugs. I gave them & but it problem comes after some day. I want to know that how many times i pay even cell is under warranty. Is it reliability of Sony upon which we should rely????????

phone has failed
I had purchased a Sony Erricson phone for my son in March 2009 from Sharaf DG, Bahrain. Within 4 months, the phone started to malfunction and subsequently concked off completely.

I gave the phone to their service centre on 15th August. The receipt said they will repair in 10 days. There is no news till date, and 11 days have passed. When I called them, the lady informed me that someone will call back but nothing as yet. My compliant number is 0265.

They promote their stores very agressively but i must say that their service is quite poor.

Not returning my mobile
Hi,

I have purshased sony erricson mobile in feb month 2009. i had some problem with navigation keys. i submitted my mobile at Technocare, E-17, ground floor, central market New Delhi. every time they give me delivery date and every time they give me a new date of delivery. I am being harrased every time. They are making people fool.

Regarding Sony Erricson service center
I had a Sony erricson mobile phone K790i. I was not able to switch it on because of some problems. I thought of getting it repaired at SE service center located at Cunnigham road, Bangalore but i was not knowing they people are fraud, sitting there to cheat the customers and making money rather than giving genuine services. What they did is they said come in2 days, when i call them after 2 days they said the component they require ot repair is out of service. Afterwards they charged me 15o service charge and took out the speakers from my phone and returned the phone saying they cant repair it. I was not knowing that and when i took it to the other vendor he said its speakers are taken away by some 1.

I don't the exact forum to launch complaint against these fraud people. If anybody knows plz mail me at [email protected] so that they can gt the punishment which they deserve rather than cheating few more funds of ours.

I don't want anyone to suffer because of such people.

I bought a new mobline Z550i from Sony Erricson nehru palace New delhi on 7th june 2007. Now a days my handfree is not working properly. as company said this moblie having warrentty of one year. i have a box, i have warrenty card, i have not the bill for that. but company was not lestening to me . i aleray visit one service center of sony. but same answer that without bill we have not authority to replace any part. then what does the meant of warrent card.

please help me out if possible.
