After store came back online I clicked on the playstatin 3 plus pack I managed to get that then I downloaded 2 out of the 5 free games which were deadnation and ratchet and clank but after that I had to delete ratchet and clank due to lack of memory on console but then I re down loaded it after freeing up space on the console but after that I checked my bank only to find out my bank balance was wrong so whent in to my bank and I had £ 56.96 waiteing to be taken of my acount so I asked one of the advisors to show me what was waiteing to come off which was £ 22 .99, £11.99, £ 9.99, £ 11.99 which I did not agree to as the download said they were free to plastaion3 pluss members. Iam very upset about that as I waited so long for the network to come back on so I would like a refund cause of this as I was under the impresion that these items were free as it was stated on the playstaion 3 store and if I do not recive a full refund I will be seeking further legal advice about this matter . i have had some problems with my ps3 recently. earlier this week i had the yellow light of death but after searching the internet and 2 hours of holding hairdryers and fans i fixed that, then however when i went to restart the playstation to play fifa 11 i was greeted by a message saying cannot start because there is a problem with my hard drive. i have looked everywhere for 2 days now hoping to find a solution but they all lead to the recovery menu which unfortunately for some reason i can not access. i think i had 3 years warranty which is just over now but i will be very grateful for any help you can give me

I would like to complain about the sony playstation 3. I first bought a Sony playstation 3 in November 2007 i paid approximately £400 for it as a Christmas present for my partner. He works long hours so it was hardly ever used infact it would probably have been used for about 2 days in total over the 2 year period that we owned the console. However we still ended up being on the losing side as it died still practically brand new and hardly used. I then had to hand over more money for a replacement which we have had now for 10 months again the same story hardly used and now this one is faulty also. I've suffered with faulty appliances before but never 2 of the same. Sony have now cost me about £700 over the last 3 years and i have nothing to show for it except faulty equipment and disgust for sony who promised a quality gaming experience and have left me feeling robbed of all they promised.

my ps3 all of a sudden stopped working, while playing a game now, i now my warranty is out cause i do not have the original receipt and i bought it online it worked fine for almost a year. But it is a common defect for the 40gb system which I have. I called sony and they said it will cost me $149 which is inconvenience to people because it is very expensive it ranges from 300-500 dollars I Just want less for a repair but that might not happen so i want to make a complaint to sony for whats going on.

I purchased a Sony Playstation 3 on 9/30/07. I recently purchased the video game Resident Evil 5. I put the disc in to play the game. The disc had a version update ( ver 2.52). I loaded the version update and played the game for an hour.I shut the game down and came back 20 minutes later to play again and the PS3 system wouldn't read any discs. I called the Sony help line and talked to an operator named Jason. I explained what happened. He immediately went into his sales pitch and told me I was out of warranty and would have to pay $150 to get the system fixed. I told him I didn't have the money and asked if they would wave the fee. He said we needed to try some troubleshooting but if it didn't work they would wave the fee. I attemted his troubleshooting and nothing worked. I called back the next day and got a different operator and he said there was no way they would repair the system without the $150. I have since been online to see if this was a common problem and it appears that it is. People have had the system for different time periods ranging from days to weeks to months and experienced the exact same problem. This is a known problem and Sony has found a way to profit off of their mistakes. This is absurd. SHAME ON YOU SONY!!!
