lost delivery and delay in refund
I bought a 40" Sony Bravia on November 29th, 2010. I called Sony Style to inquire about when the TV would be delivered. They told me it would come December 3rd, which then became December 4th, which then turned into December 6th and then promised on Decmber. 7th. On December 7th, the shipper called to say that the TV was lost.
I went to the Sony store to get a refund. They said they would be glad to refund it since it was lost. They sold me a TV that they had in stock.

It is December 29th, and guess what. The 'refund' has yet to be posted.
Despite numerous phonecalls to Sony Style, they assure me it will come, over and over and over.
If you can buy it at the store, great. If not, I WOULD NEVER USE THIS SERVICE!!!.

The order placement process was extremely frustrating
I was an extremely loyal Sony customer, having purchased my 127th Sony PC in December. However, I will never buy another Sony product:

1. The order placement process was extremely frustrating - After waiting weeks for my newly configured PC, I called Sony for a status update, only to find that the order was never placed because the Sony rep who took the phone order recorded the wrong security code for my credit card. I then ordered another laptop and waited weeks longer for it to arrive.
2. The new PC arrived with charging problems. After spending dozens of hours on the phone with Sony asking for a new charging port, they finally agreed to send a new charger. As the problem was with the port, the new charger was of no help. I have now been told that I need to wait 3-5 business days for Sony's techs to call me to schedule a time to look at the PC, then wait for the tech to order the part, then wait for the tech to schedule another appointment to fix it. In the meantime, I continue to be without my PC, as it has no power.
3. The reps I spoke with were, in my view, incompetent and uncaring. Each department sent me to another and none of them had access to the records or notes taken by the reps in other departments.

I am not upset that Sony sent me a PC with a broken charging port. I am upset over how it has been handled by Sony. In my experience, Sony is no longer a quality company, with quality products or support. The extra money I spent for the Sony name was an absolute waste and I will not make this mistake again.

Liars
I bought a Sony Vaio CR520D in July/2008 and the keyboard got spent with no more than 5 months of use. When I bought it, the vendor and people from the Sony Store told me, for sure, that I could get support here in Brazil. Unfortunately, here in Brazil Sony says people from Sony in Canada lied to me. And even worst, they didn't even tried a solution. I just want my product without scratches. What I can say is never buy a Sony Product if you want support, if you want yout product working well.

Delivery
Ordered a 46" Sony Bravia LCD that had free shipping form Sony Style. Sony used DB Shenker for delivery service and is supposed to be to your doorstep. We live in an aprtment and I spoke to the customer service contact for the delivery service when arranging the time and they assured me it would be delivered to my apt doorstep. Sure enough the deliver guy came and was going to leave the TV on the street. My wife had to beg him to help get it into our building lobby. She then had to drag it to the elevator and apt all on her own. The guy also had the nerve to threaten her that if he got a ticket while supposedly helping, we would be responsible for the ticket??? I will never order from Sony Style again because of this and if I was present I would have canceled the order all together and went to a store and picked it up myself!

Bad service
On 12/12/08, I purchased two items from this company thinking it was Sony, with no hesitation or any thought that it could be a scam company.

I learned of this Reseller ratings a couple of days later on the 15th of Dec. So I checked on Sony Style and did not like what I read.
However, I am happy to report my items have arrived today the 17th of Dec. I never did receive info by email about the shipment or tracking number. I had to log in to my account and track it that way. It seemed a little odd, but then again I don't shop online everyday.

Overall, I would purchase again from this company and just know to be patient with the shipping.
