Illegal Bank Withdrawal

they offer free trial size product for $ 1.95 if decide you don't want return product no problem. I cancelled product returned it with RMA # and insurance coverage as instructed. I mailed it on 12/02/09 they received on 12/04/09 they confirmed they got it. Meanwhile they had withdrawn $ 78.95 from my checking account. I called and asked them why they withdrew money they said they would refund money within 2 to 3 weeks. This went on and on with no refund. Finally i called February 12 spoke with a man who said he was a supervisor. He was very snotty and uncooperative and told me just to go to my bank and file for a provitional refund. I went to my bank on February 13 and was informed i could not file such a thing and i filled out cardholder dispute form. It is Februare 23 2010 and i am still waiting for the refund.

Charges made to my credit card

I saw this product on the internet. Signed up for a free trial offer. Funny that the 14 day offer they claim where the product must be returned by is not included on any invoice that comes with the product. Nor do you know you are being charged until you get your credit card bill.

You have to imput all your information to see the "fine print" by then they have all your information. The 14 day free trial offer is not on the website. HMM wonder why? They know exactly what they are doing. South Beach Brite would be wise to look at their marketing practices. With so many complaints it is obvious something is wrong. They are a very misleading company. Is this how we do business in the good old USA??? How this company is making money is dishonest and wrong.

I called the customer service number all day, not once did someone answer my call, I also left my number to have someone call me. NO CALL YET.
By reading all the other complaints looks like I am not the only one.
CONTACT your local consumer protection agency everyone. When I called the credit card company the gentlemen knew exactly what company I was talking about. He said he get 20-23 calls per day regarding this product. DO NOT GIVE UP contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, THE MORE COMPLAINTS THEY GET, THEN SOMETHING WILL BE DONE... right? Lets all hope so. =( JONTI
