I purchased a pre-owned Nissan from South Coast Acura in January 2007. I paid cash for the car and paid cash for a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. In November 2007, the car broke down out of state. It was towed into a Nissan Dealer who ran the vin # and discovered no warranty existed. I contacted South Coast Acura regarding the problem. Eleven days later I still have no warranty and they will not pay for the repairs. My car is being held hostage 2000 miles away.
Had I not needed to use my warranty, I would never have known they pocketed the money without providing me a warranty.
I've dealt with Kevin Kim, Kevin Nikko and Mike Kim of the dealership to no avail. Lots of "stories", but no resolution or money. I contacted the owner, Matthew Maloci at 714-475-6464, who promised me the repairs would be paid for and the warranty installed, but to date, nothing.
