sir,
I had reserved a ticket for 3352 Dhanbad exp.
from CHENNAI CENTRAL to TENALI FOR 18-7-2009 for
2 passengers.The Ticket no is- 21927222.
As on that day the train is running late for more
than 3 hours I cancelled my program and as the time
was already 23.30 (18-7-2009) I had gone to home.
Then on the next day morning (19-7-2009) at 09.47
I approached the reservation counter at chennai central
and asked them for FULL REFUND as the train was late
for more than 3 hours but the booking clerk replied me
that the rule is "train should be late for more than 4 hours"
and despite my repeated request to verify the RULE
he paid me only 50% of the amount by CANCELLATION
TICKET NO-41987768 PNR NO--4308859635.
As the Rule is "FULL REFUND IF THE TRAIN IS LATE
FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS" I request you to pay me the
balance amount(Rs.192/-) and give proper guidence
to the Booking clerk so that this kind of harassment
does not get repeated with any other passenger in future.
